This is the First Round Challenge of the ACC between RA and AOD! This is a public thread, so feel free to post.

The following regulations were copied from the ACC thread:


First Round

4 Singles Bouts (each best-of-4) - each bout worth 1 point
4 Doubles Games - each also worth 1 point
8 Trips - each worth 2 points
8 Quads- each also worth 2 points

40 points available in total

Contacts therefore need to create 2 games for each singles bout - 8 games, plus 2 doubles games, 4 trips and 4 quads.

MD (Manifest Destiny) vs. GR (Grim Reapers)
RA (Risk Attackers) vs. AOD (Angels of Death) - This is my upset pick! This would be crazy if it happened, but RA will bring their A game with their newest recruit billclinton13! However AOD could be in the finals if they make it past this round.
AFOS (A Fistful of Sixes) vs. AKA (Always Kicking A$$)
OSA (One Step Ahead) vs. PR (Pig Renters) - Dont know who PR is, but OSA could even win this thing from a dark corner
TNC (The New Crusade) vs. LEG (Legion)
LOTZ (Legends of the Zone) vs. SOH (Spelunkers of Hell)
TFFS (The Fantastic Four-Skins) vs. BSS (Black Sheep Squadron)
TO (Team Ohio) vs. GG (1st Regiment of Foot Guards: Grenadier Guards) - No clue here, going with the Grenadier's Cause i hate the Buckeyes from Ohio (state)... Go Nebraska!

Posted this in the ACC thread but i am going to have to change my vote to AOD as billclinton13 isnt even involved in any of RA's games... not sure why... but i guess its none of my business.

Yes, it's a shame that we weren't able to get billclinton13 into more games. He was only in one this first round, and if we make it to the second round, we will definitely try to get him in more.

Since bill is very new, we are still working teams and maps to place him in.

We already had certain lineups for certain maps- and now we have to work the new players in. It will take some time and adjusting. Hopefully soon we'll find a perfect fit for everyone.

The unofficial score right now is 1-2 in AOD's favor. I won't update the scores until the games are officially finished.

Damn, and he lost the one game he was in. I wish LoW had voted him in... he had my vote.

He used photoshop. I'm sure he had the latest version at the time.

any updates

One our players has been MIA for four days now, and no one can get a hold of him. This is really unlike him, as he is quite responsible. I'm afraid he might be in the hospital right now. Hope all is well.

But this will definitely give AOD an advantage- as all those games are as good as lost now for RA. Its too bad- RA wanted to come out fighting hard against a tough clan

Yeah, Mc Lor is very responsible, and this is not like him at all. I know something bad must have happened I am concerned about his safety.

We can't find anyone who knows his password. Someone in RA should've had it- and its our own faults for not having it. I thought someone would have it, but I guess Mc Lor never had a sitter

This will result in us losing a lot of home games. Mc Lor was in more games than any other attacker.

AOD has a three game lead right now. Wins coming for both sides. I predict this war will be close til the end, but AOD will most likely pull it out.

Just a friendly reminder that singles and doubles are worth 1 point and trips and quads are worth 2. According to the games that are done the score should be 7-11 instead of 4-7.

That is correct. I am currently tallying the games 1 by 1. I will count the points when all games are finished. It will be easier for me that way.

Looks like the score is 15-20 excluding both monsters games (unofficially at least). Well played on both sides.

I have it as 19-15 with 2 games remaining.

If it became 19-19 then the tie-breaker would decide.

However, AOD have eliminated two RA players in Game 9503700 so its a huge mountain for RA to climb.

We lead both games (a 3rd is eliminated in the game above) and the tie-breaker. AOD will win this. Well played RA.
