I just bumped/updated glide's old suggestion about making it possible to select only games won by a specific player.

I think this would definitely help tournament organizers (of large tourneys/leagues) to keep track of each player's won/lost record [and how they did on specific maps].

Do you think it would be useful? If so, make your voice known here and in glide's suggestion thread.

EDIT: If you reply here, please post your average tournament size (in terms of number of games).

All I do is click 'Finished' then the tournament name. That's really all I need, but I don't know about anyone else.

I do the same as Gilligan and it seems to work fine...I don't see a need for another feature.

I understand the idea for the new feature, but it doesn't do any good for the tournament organizers who need to see where a player finished in each game. Any tournament that needs to reward points based on finishing position couldn't make any use out of this.

I usually just record wins/points from games as they finish, so I do not often have to go back to check old games.

I can see how this would be useful for some people though.

Actually, in response to optimus's point, could that be changed? In the "game finder" list have it show a possible 6/5/4/3/2/1 place next to each players name in a finished game, that would stop us having to spend ages reading back through game logs. It would also make it easier for people to generate some personal stats - check all games, how many 1st, 2nds, 3rds etc. and perhaps in the case of team games, have the Team 1/2/3 just like in the game window, as part of the game finder window... (with still 6/5/4/1/1/1 maybe for when one triples team wins with no losses, or 6/5/4/3/1/1 if there was a loss on the team)

Just a few ideas that flowed from one to the next... Food for thought!

Excellent idea Tieryn, I guess if we are going to have lack going in and fixing the Game Finder code to pull out winner - we should have him just list people's finishing position !!

Hopefully it can be possible, because its costs a lot of time to search for the ranking in a game. And with you're idea, we will see in in a split second. And then its simple to put the results on your own tournament table with they points the deserve.
