Remembering the Good Times [Share Your Good Dice Stories]

Too long have we listened to the whining, wailing, and blubbering over at the dice complaint thread. There seems to be a new entry about losing a 5-to-1 every time I turn around. I think it's high time we bring forth our stories about how the dice have been unabashedly in our favor. Call this thread the yin to the complaint thread's yang.
I'll start.
Let me set the table. The game is a terminator game on the High Seas map with escalating cards and unlimited forts. I have two cards and two territs; one with one army, and one with nine. Red has three cards and three territs; two with one army, and one with 12. Blue has probably 10 territs, all with various armies on them. More important is the fact that Blue, who takes his turn after me, has five cards for a guaranteed set of 30 armies. I decide that I'm minced meat if I just deploy as Blue will cash and run the board. With that thought in my mind, I decide to make a run at Red. If I get her, then I stand a chance at running the board myself. So, I deploy my three armies on my territ with nine and have a run at Red. The first two territs go without a fight and I'm left with 10 to take her 12. Normally I wouldn't have a go with those odds, but we were all dead anyway after my turn, so I went for it.
The dice gods were with me, as I took her 12 with my 10 and made a set. I cashed it in for the 30 armies, and had a go at Blue. It wasn't guaranteed, as I had to take his 26 armies with my 30, but I was willing to try it after my successful go at Red. I got Blue down to one territ with six armies, and had seven armies of my own with which to take it. Needless to say, the dice were with me again as I took the territ with three to spare. Two more card sets found their way into my fold and, after cashing them in for 35 and 40 armies respectively, I ran the board with no further excitement.
So, there you have it. To sum up, I took a 12 with a 10 and a six with a seven to win the board. Now, let's hear your "good dice" story.
C'mon. Don't be ashamed. I know you have one. Let loose with it.

The best roll I can remember is 38 vs 50 for a kill... I won with 6 left

Not something I normally would try, but I had 2 stacks which equaled about 100. The first stack of close to 70 sucked... so ... I was a bit pissed and tried the 2nd one

It worked well. I won the game.

I had incredibly lucky dice on a 5 player feudal game the other week,it was down to me an another player.....he had the advantage and had 50 on my border.....autoed with 35(last chance saloon) and ended up left with about 15,i went on to win the game but it felt like a bit of a hollow victory as realistically the other guy should have held and went on to walk over the top of me,but it does show that sometimes the dice can be kind.........but it just never seems to be in that game where you have a good chance and all you need to do is knock that 2 down with your 8

Defending in real life risk I had 4 on Western Aussie and 22 attacked and I lost none.
He went to zero, then quit.
It was amazing. I would just match what he rolled on one higher every time, freaky dice
Online I go 20-20 and come out with like 13 quite often. Auto attack will make you or break you it seems.

I like the spirit of this thread
Those of you running dice analyzer who have particularly good dice stats could you post them ?

I wouldn't say that my dice, in general, are great. Average, really, as I do roll more 1's than my opponents and about the same amount of 6's. That would be pretty sweet of some of you with above-average dice could post your dice analyzer results.

In a World 2.1 game that's still active for me, the BoB strengths were this:
Me 75 - Purple 130 - Orange 85
I attacked purple starting with 37 armies... took out a 19, took a 15 down to 5, took out a 9, 5 other provinces in SA, then 5-army province in Africa... broke two continents. After this I still had about 21 armies. Strengths according to BoB, 2 rounds after that are:
Me 85 - Purple 87 - Orange 88
The dice played their part perfectly, settling the balance in play once again. Everyone gets 18-21 armies as well, even though before my romp, it was looking like a whitewash to purple.

Here are some decent dice stats....
Wins / Ties / Loses █████████████████████████ 32675 / 11117 / 20866
12,000 more wins than losses

6s █████████████████████████ 1398 / 8026 (17.42%)
yep 17% of all my dice thrown are 6's

I think I won a 6 vs 3. That's probably the most luck I've ever got in this game.

I appreciate your comments, Ryall, but let's keep it all positive. The bold part belongs in the other thread. Thanks.

Low ranks putting too much faith in the dice is one of the reasons i stopped playing speed games.
Although i did once win a 9 with a 5 and had 4 advancing, but that was in a team game. Which means it was acceptable

Just swept a board by taking 23 with 23 to grab five cards. I normally wouldn't make such a move, but the guy after would have swept the board no matter what, so I decided to give it a whack.
Turns out the dice decided to even themselves out afterward. Someone took my 20 with 18 to get my cards and sweep the rest of the board.
Overall, the dice have been pretty good to me. I'm currently rolling sixes dead even with defenders at 17.34%. I'll take it, as I've been dominating with fives, ~17% to 15%.

So, why do you think players remember bad dice better than they remember good dice? The complaint thread continues to receive new posts while this continues to slide down the line. I know good dice happen as often as bad dice, no matter what anyone says. Currently, all of my percentages in the dice analyzer are between 15.99 and 17, not including either of those numbers, which is about as even as the dice get.
Perhaps I need to change the topic title.

I assure you that didn't happen. I doubt since CC started there has been dice even REMOTELY close to what you're describing, even if "20ish" meant 29 and "50ish" meant 50 exactly.

Biggest bestest roll:
19v56 auto from GK castle
result:
2v3
I killed 53 armies with 17
That'll never happen again.
