some tournaments have prizes for the winner like a mug from the cc store or free premium, but there can't be an entry fee for any tournament, so its just the TO being nice to the people in their tournament. There also is no betting on game EVER.

Yes. There are Premium prizes if you win, but I don't think they do money.
There have also been prizes for things sold from the shop, basic merchandise.
