Knight's Alexander the Great Triples Tournament
Alexander III of Macedon, popularly known as Alexander the Great, was an Ancient Greek king of Macedon who created one of the largest empires in ancient history. Alexander is one of the most well known figures of antiquity, and is remembered for his tactical ability, his conquests, and for spreading Greek civilization into the east.
Alexander repeatedly defeated the Persians in battle, marched through Syria, Egypt, Mesopotamia, Persia, and Bactria and in the process he overthrew the Persian king Darius III and conquered the entirety of the Persian Empire. He became the measure against which generals, even to this day, compare themselves, and his tactical exploits are still taught in military academies throughout the world.
Now you too can have the glory that Alexander experienced. Come hither and sign up with two of your favorites conquerors to form a triples team in an all out battle for Alexanders Empire.
The tournament will consist of 18 teams who will be seeded by total combined points in an NCAA basketball style single elimination tournament (best of 3 games except final which is best of 5). See the settings below:
Settings:
18 teams of 3
Map: Alexander's Empire
Game Mode: Triples
Play Order: Sequential
Spoils: No Spoils
Reinforcement: Chained
FoW: No Fog of War
Requirements:
Total team score must be 5000 in the aggregate when starting the tournament.
Teams must create a team name for use in the tournament (please keep it under 22 digits or I will assign you one under 22 digits -- you know you always wanted to be the "fluffy bunnies")
All players must be premium members
