Hi Folks, I'm pretty new to QC, is there a way to check your progress towards your medals, Ive got Bronze for a couple of types of games but would like to know how far i am to reaching new goals?

The best way is to use the Map Rank Addon.
Go to this thread and follow the instructions

spiesr is right.

I Map Ranked you. As of right now, you need 8 more kills on Assassin for Bronze and 12 more on Standard for Silver. Here's how many more you need for the medals.

Assassin 8 (Bronze)
Standard 12 (Silver)
Nuclear 14 (Bronze)
Speed 17 (Bronze)
Crossmap 17 (Bronze)
Terminator 20 (Bronze)
Doubles 20 (Bronze)
Triples 20 (Bronze)
Quadruples 20 (Bronze)
Fog 73 (Silver)
Manual 78 (Silver)
Freestyle 78 (Silver)

If you meet the requirements, you the medals. You don't have to do anything special.

I'm fairly certain the medals aren't distributed until after the next time you win a game.

either get the latest version of google chrome or get firefox with the greasemonkey addon, then you'll be able to run userscripts like maprank. (btw i'm not sure if maprank actually works on google chrome, i think it's quite bugged on chrome)

No, you get the medals as soon as you have earned them. Just last week, I beat someone in a terminator game and when I went to my next game I had a message in my inbox that said I won the Silver Terminator Medal. They arrive instantly.

agreed. this is the truth, the game does not need to b archived, only over.

However you must have won a game for the code to trigger granting the medals.
