Sully - I have no computer skills. The idea of playing around with firefox sounds like an accident waiting to happen to me.
Of all the things that have been tweaked on this site since I've been here - nothing would hold a candle to the addition of card counting for everyone.

Things like Live chat that have been added to the site - seem to be a complete arse about face way of doing things. Why sort out small niche requests for the Real Time players - when theres 1 thing that everyone wants. Once you've got greasemonkey theres no going back - playing this site from work on IE makes you pound your head into the keyboard.

A CC version of Greasemonkey would benifit everyone everywhere.

If I was to be given Lacks 'to do list' I'd rip it up, and get a sheet of A4 and write down Greasemonkey for everyone. End of list.

It's that important

I agree mostly Pedro,

Been holding of on the suggestion that when a game starts and there is a stache playing, an anthem should sound and then a one minutes chat silence be observed by all players.

This may be true, but as a 20 programmer mostly within the Microsoft environment, I can assure you that as soon as FireFox gets popular, Microsoft will put some sort of bug in some important system that will cause FireFox to seem like the buggy one; but they'll be nothing FireFox or the user will be able to do about it. Those nasty MS people.

"My Games" how it could be better

when i am looking through the forums, i always wonder if its my turn yet. maybe when its your turn the "My Games" button would light up or change so you know its your turn. On a important scale of 1-5, I think maybe 4, Its very annoying.

The only thing I would add to the "my games" page would be a column listing time remaining until next turn / end of turn for each game.

{Suggestion} My Games -- make BOLD when it's your turn

by Gnome de Guerre
You know how the Inbox appears different when you have a new message? I think it becomes bold, and is followed by the number of new messages in blue contained by brackets, like this:

Inbox [ 1 ]

How about a similar altered display of My Games followed by the number of games waiting for you to take your turn?

My Games [ 4 ]

Couple thoughts...

I had a few ideas for the next update:

{- An automatically updating server so you don't have to keep hitting the refresh map button all the time.}

Forget that one. (The one above.)

- A number by the "My Games" button that says how many games in which it is your turn. It would look similar to the number by your inbox when you get a new pm.

Yeah, that's it. Tell me what you think.

like the second not the first

I don't like either. I don't want my browser to keep refreshing the game window that I accidentally kept open, thus eating up my connection speed. I also don't want a little number next to my games. I would find that kinda annoying. You can get conquer tell (a greasemonkey script) if you're using Firefox. It'll have a little "bar" at the bottom that shows you the status of you're games. I like it, and it works no matter what site you're on.

I like the second one only.

by Phobia
yeah, the first suggestion would be nice but imagine all the games that will constantly refreshed. you would need one big big server for that.

i think the second one is good though, i dont think its been mentioned before, which is surprising actually. it would be quite useful when youre on cc forums and youre completely unaware theres a game waiting to be played, and so it would be most useful in rt.
in response to hecters conquer tell comment, conquer tell is good, but only refreshes like every 5 minutes, one by the my games button would be most helpful for rts when you are expected to take your go immediately.

Show number of ready games on my games button

<Subject>: Games Turns

<Body>: When it is your turn in a game, the number of games in which it is currently your turn will appear on the "My Games" button.

Suggestion Idea: Under <Body>

Specifics: Again, under body

Why it is needed: If you are searching through the club forum, you can see when it is your turn there instead of having to go to your games, while leaving your current position.

Priority** (1-5): 3

This isn't a new suggestion. It's been suggested before, but it isn't a bad idea. You could also get the greasemonkey things that will tell you when it's your turn. It's quiet handy. Check the sticky in General Discussion.

Total Number of Ready Games

by JerenYun
Though I don't play too many games (never more than 15), for those that do play a lot of games, perhaps it would be helpful if the total number of games that are ready to be played by the player is shown at the top of the active games/my games link. Sometimes it's easy to skip over a game that is waiting for you to play. By seeing the number, it'd be easier to see if one has played all their games at the moment or not. (I typically play all of my games when I log in).

Perhaps it could be displayed as "Number of Games Ready For You: #"

Priority: 2 - Not very important, but I think it'd be a useful feature.
