I'm writing a little comedic something which involves disgusting food, or combinations thereof. Suggestions?
My first thought was bananas and lima beans.

I went through a phase where I put apple sauce on everything. The one people seemed to think was the weirdest was leftover lasagna, cold, topped with apple sauce and shredded parmesan. Another favorite was apple sauce on chicken breast. My step-mom tended to cook chicken until it was dry, so the apple sauce provided some moisture.

Bollocks.

Always loved the Calvin and Hobbes strip where he got school lunch of beanie weenies and he claimed it was Cigar Butts in a Gallstone sauce

Max: My favorite dish is haggis. Heart, lungs, liver. You shove that all in a sheep's stomach, then you boil it. That'll put some hair on your ass!

haggis not that disgusting when you try it. Just don't imagine what you are eating.
Apple sauce on chicken is common practice in Belgium, nothing disgusting about it. That lasagne though

Want disgusting? Try cereals and orange juice.

I used to work with a guy that put beer on his breakfast cereal (specifically, Newcastle Brown).

I've put both apple juice and orange juice in cereal before. Not at the same time, different occasions. And typically, when I put milk in, it's a tiny tiny amount. I hate soggy cereal. I had a friend who used to say I had cereal with "high humidity", because I put in so little milk.

Bollocks.

I can see that. Though, it's kind of a waste of a decent beer.

Bollocks.

Bravo!

I've always like the idea of eating haggis. I've just never encountered a place that actually had it. But it sounds sort of like a primitive liverwurst, and I've never met a liverwurst I didn't like.

haggis is actually pretty decent, at least, i don't remember it being as repulsive as it sounds.

that said, it's been at least a decade since i ate it..

if you're in the states, veggie haggis is pretty darn good with some tatties and brown sauce.

Well, since you are going for the comedic ... it's time to invoke the COLLEGE FRESHMAN DINING ROOM stories.

A freshman walked from the line with slices of cheese pizza and passed the salad bar.
That freshman added some pickles to the slices.
People thought that was funny
so
Pickles on your Pizza.

Some might still think that's disgusting but still funny.
