My son is left-handed when he writes, but right-handed for some other stuff like tennis. It took him a while to decide at baseball.
He is also right-footed.

With an appropriately large enough sample (at least 1,000 respondents) it should work out to 10% left handed and 90% right handed.
Which of course underscores another 90/10 split I've always wondered about, homosexuals. I just really don't think that 10% of the population is gay. I really think it's more like 2%. There are so many more lefties out there than fairies.
Unless of course we are discussing the population of the Double Rainbow Society. In that case, it's only 2% that are straight. (I hope this sheds light on the "Not as Gay as you Think" signature, because it is accurate. 2% are not gay, meaning they are not as gay as everyone thought)

A righty with my hand and foot. Though I can switch feet and hands with kicking and such, but not writing.

Actually, you'd be surprised at trends in handedness - the percentage of lefties amongst younger people is growing. I've seen claims of 30-40% or more.
Why this should be, and whether its a delayed result of the decay of prejudice against lefties is an interesting question.
I have twin nephews, one of whom is a lefty, one a righty.

I consider myself left handed because I write that way. But I am right footed....and I swing a bat, and golf club right handed, as well as play hockey right handed. However, I throw a baseball left handed, yet throw a football right handed. Nope...I don't know why either....lol

Meaning what? That more lefties concealed their "sinister" nature, or is it actually a proliferation of the genetic trait? As in, more lefties are able to breed now that it is against the law to identify them as witches and burn them?
And you're right, that is surprising. Also fascinating. My dad is a lefty, but his right side is his power side. So he throws left but bats right. He writes left but eats with his right hand (I think the utensil thing was from forced training, not natural inclination).

I think I know which one is the evil one.

Well when it turned out my boy was a lefty, we always laid the knife and fork out for him left-handedly, as well as buying lefty scissors etc. But he naturally eats right-handed - no pressure, quite the opposite.

Hey, I like the DRS(obviously, not as much as I like me). And that sig is the greatest.

Now, now. I'm just joking. I don't even know the DRS, I've only seen their sig. However, I do know they have inferior fun.

I'm a leftie, but I write with my right, use scissors with both and throw a frisbee (the normal way) right handed and the reverse way left handed. Though the frisbee was probably because I learned to throw it that way before my parents found out I was left handed.

As for Jonesthecurl's comment about more lefties. I do remember hearing something about how back in the day a lot of parents as well as teachers tried to influence kids to use their right hands dominantly.

I remember that, growing up in the 60's whenever you used your' left hand they used to take your' pencil and put it in the other hand or even smack your' hand. But growing up in the 70's aswell they didn't do that.

I had a teaacher who wrote right-handed, having been quite literally beaten into it. But when he wrote on the blackboard with chalk, he used his left ('cos he never used a blackboard till he was a teacher, by which time they'd stopped beating him hopefully, or maybe he thumped them back).

That's just despicable. I hope he did get a shot in at those degenerates.
I know I may make jokes about lefties being demon spawn, or sinister/evil, but I do honestly hope I haven't brought up any troublesome memories for any southpaws reading this thread.
There really is nothing wrong with lefties, except for their scissors.
