Just goes to show what everyone already knows. 2 player games are the most frequent. What a better question would be is why is 2 player games more frequently played here when the board game is shit that way?
2 player games.
24 hour games = 4086085
Speed games = 2223508
Amazing how a third of all 2 player games are speed.

Does this also mean more maps should be made with this in mind, and cater to 1v1 play? Promontory Summit should be a good addition.

Well, i don't think so Seamus.
But for me, what it does say is that we should do better with balancing the maps that we make especially for 1v1

and i am no exception to this.

Well you do now. Foundry always makes us balance for 2 player games over all other types.

Well, you would have to know what rules people were using when playing 1v1 on the real board. Here, we have these dead neutrals, which are scattered over the board, and postpone the final conflict. I have read about (but never played by) rules which cause the neutral armies to shift allegiance back and forth with each player's turn.
