"Nightmares and Daydreams"

Aang couldn't sleep. The comet was nearing; the eclipse might be his only chance to find and kill the Fire Lord before that time. But was Aang really capable of killing? He imagined himself facing Fire Lord Ozai. After a fierce battle, he might be able to bring his nemesis to his knees, but would he have the strength of will to deliver the final blow? Aang just wasn't sure. Thinking about this in bed, he lay there for hours. Finally a more soothing memory entered his mind. He remembered how he once travelled through a vast cavern with Katara, the woman he loved. It was the first and only time they had kissed. He could feel the touch of her lips against his. Her gentle voice whispered him to sleep. Little did Aang know that Katara had perished in the war and that they would never kiss like that ever again.



Not far from Aang's location, Fire Lord Ozai had also fallen asleep. He kept mumbling and rolling over in his restless sleep. A close listener could hear the words "Azula" and "daughter" coming from his mouth. After Azula had died, Ozai had been able to come up with a new plans for defeating the Avatar and conquering the world that didn't involve his daughter, but the thought of having none of his own blood left as decendants to the throne bothered him greatly. His informants had discovered that his son Zuko, who was living in exile, had also become a casualty of the war on the Earth Kingdom. Even though these sad thoughts were tormenting him in his dreams, he started dreaming more pleasant thoughts after a while. He dreamed of Sozin's Comet arriving. He dreamed of killing the Avatar and burning down the entire Earth Kingdom with his own two hands. Most of all, he dreamed of being crowed 'The Phoenix King', ruler of the entire world!



What neither Aang nor Ozai had gotten word of yet, is that a ship returning from the battle against the Northern Water tribe boarded the coast of the Fire Nation earlier that day. Admiral Zhao set foot on solid ground for the first time in quite some weeks. The journey had tired him out and he longed for a good meal and a bed. Thinking that he was completely safe, being in the Fire Nation, he immediately left to find an nearby inn without waiting for his troops to accompany him. That turned out to be the greatest and last mistake of his life.

A group of rebels had seen the ship coming and were already waiting in ambush when Zhao passed. An arrow pierced his heart and Zhao froze. His life flashed before his eyes. He had done so well on the North Pole, but the battle turned into a disaster nonetheless. His plan to destroy the moon had worked and he had been sure at the time to go into history as the 'Destoyer of the Moon'. But somehow, the moon had been restored to its old state and the tides of battle changed to their disadvantage. Zhao realized that he just got killed by an unnamed group of pity rebels and no one might even learn of his death. His name would never be written in the history books telling of the Fire Nation's victory. These thoughts hurt him even more than the arrow in his chest did as he fell to the ground and died.

"The Day of Black Sun, Part 1: The Invasion"

The eclipse was only hours away. Aang wasn't alone. More people had gathered on the border of the Fire Nation than he could possibly have imagined! People from both the Water Tribes and the Earth Kingdom had come prepared for war. Weeks of work had been put into the preparations for this day. Aang knew that the most difficult task was appointed to him. He hardly even listened when one of the Water Tribe warriors gave courage to the listening soldiers. He didn't need any more words of encouragement. He was ready.



Then, the invasion began! Engineers from the Earth Kingdom had built some remarkable vehicles that carried and protected their troops, and some ingenious devices that were able to attack the palace walls from far away. Aang didn't join the main force in their fight. He stayed back and waited for them to clear a path. He would fly over the inner walls of the palace after the army had taken care of the guard towers protecting those walls. He would face the Fire Lord alone, while the eclipse would prevent him from Firebending. That would finally end this war.



Will the war be put to an end during the coming eclipse? Only time will tell...

As for william, his investigations never have been that useful... While he gets "Fire Nation" and "Non-Fire Nation", I get "innocent" and "guilty". Plus, he investigated F1fth as "Non-Fire Nation", and I really don't see how that works out...

Ohh I investigated Fircoal as non fire nation.

Unfortunately that doesn't tell us much as you claimed F1fth as non-fire too, and having his scum/lover role to just come up as non-fire is a bit weird. As that leaves us with you being a severely limited/naive/insane/ cop or lying it provides little help until we've figured out which it is.

btw, did your investigation of nag just plain fail or was it something else?

Remember Mai was recruited after my exilation. If my investigative powers are based on my previous knowledge of the fire nation army, and I don't know, then they come up as non-fire nation. So basically, if I don't know about their involvement in the war, then I assume their non-fire nation.

Anyway I think that the same case could have happened to you. Since the avatar has seen me associating with Zuko perhaps you got the investigation as scum because of mis-knowledge the same way I got Mai as non- fire nation since she was recruited after my exilation, thus never knowing of her recruitment.

Anyway, I investigated Thezzaruz and got him as non-fire nation.

And by the off chance of will not being scum I FOS Daydream (for the sneaky clearing and other antics). I'll add a suggestion to investigate him to know for sure (yea I know I'm spreading the blame, you are free to RB/kill me for it if you want to cover all the bases but I'd urge you to not wast a investigation on a vanilla townie when all info is gravely needed when the eclipse comes).
