Well, it looks like a day kill to me. At this point we can't tell if it was from a town aligned day vig trying to be helpful by killing people who were going to be lynched, or a scum or third party killer trying to look like the former.TA1LGUNN3R wrote:That and the lack of dusk.
I have only seen Memento, Inception, and the Batman movies; can someone more familiar with Nolan's other work tell me if this method of death relates to any particular character?pancakemix wrote:NAG (examining the corpse): Asphyxiation. By choking.

Commander lifts up Shield's head to reveal two slits in his cheeks. They continue their search and find a badge.
I agree that it is an odd role, but it seems to fit the character pretty well. I wonder what third party it is. Survivor, or someone with a specific task that they need to accomplish to win perhaps?safariguy5 wrote:Third party cop? Have to say I didn't see that one coming.

safariguy5 wrote:How about the joker with his knives? Slits in the cheek=glasgow smile.
Indeed, that does seem to make sense. Don't know why I didn't pick up on that part earlier. So if it is the joker then it is almost certainly an anti-town role of some sort. If this turns out to be the case then it kinda sucks for the person playing him. I mean the way they made this kill it seems like they may have been going for a plan where they claim to be pro-town killing those who would be lynched to sort of give an extra lynch. If the scene points to the kill being made by the joker though, then that would shoot that plan to hell as claiming to be the joker as a benevolent third party is a suicide move. On a somewhat related note, do you think that the scum were given fake claims? With six films and a sequel to draw from it seems like it wouldn't be too hard to come up with 11 characters who are not obviously scum. Something we might want to keep in mind as people start to claim.safariguy5 wrote:In fact, with the title Getting Serious...
Why so serious?
Is this an error?pancakemix wrote:With 10 alive it takes 7 to lynch.

I'm sorry to say, but you brought this yourself by doing what you did. Your role is a loss, but (assuming it was a DK and it definitely looks like it was Joker, who did this) you've talked in yourself into this.
After all considered, I'm suggesting that probably pressuring Nag is the best thing that we can do.

And wtf, Third party cop? Never seen one of those before.
The daykill has me worried.
Seeing how shield is third party, I'm discarding my case of edocsil and his protection of shield.
Unvote

Shit, maybe we would get lucky and he is scum, but you all know the odds of him being scum are no more likely then any other person picked at random. I dislike how Nag looks to waste the entire day chasing down a rookie who simply didn't know better, rather then spend the valuable time hunting. IMO anyone who wants to waste a day should be hung from the closest tree.
100% agreed. I find that BW on him scummy and while I can understand what Safari/Nag said about pointing scumtells and jumping on them, jumping on a newbie for making a couple of scumtells that pretty much all of the noobs make regardless of their affiliations is just as scummy (if not more) in my book.shieldgenerator7 wrote:Thanks again for coming to my rescue. Don't worry, I've learned my lesson. I won't do this again tomorrow (day 2), so you won't have to give me special newbie treatment.
Well, what about starting to play and learn today?
