Play it how you like. I don't think anyone will be mad one way our the other. What are your thoughts on vodean/pmchugh? Am I way off, or do you agree?

I suppose the more extreme thing is to attempt a kill on one of them, but possible mod tampering could make things dicey.

I suppose the safest action would be to protect someone and hope that works. What does everyone think?

I think your actions are useless, but I would rather you didn't tamper with my attempt to find out about vodean.

Did no one learn from our last lynch? At first I was certain that vodean was the mod and quite chuffed with myself but the fact shield was framed makes me think twice. How hard would it be for town to win a game with like 13 power roles and 1 scum? Not very.

Well there are two solutions:

1. Our actions are almost entirely useless against the mod.
2. Vodean is the mod.

Right now I am leaning towards number 1 but in order to confirm that vodean should switch me and him tonight.

3. you might be the mod and wanting a town investigation to cover you and then say the mod blocked the busdrive, so therefore vodean is mod (WIFOM)

I could be scum yes, but it doesn't really explain things all that well. You would have to argue that I came out accusing vodean and expecting to get a lynch, only to turn round and blame the mod messing with actions. This doesn't make too much sense though, because if I thought the framing wasn't going to work I would have not had that defence and if I though the framing was going to work then why would I even try it in the first place?

I need to give this thread a proper read, I am pretty sure that the mod has left enough clues by now to be found.

I don't feel like we're actually getting anywhere at night. I'm glad Safariguy is back, as that is one confirmed town. Besides that, all others seem to be in doubt. My vodean/pmchugh got no reaction except that they will check it out via night actions.

Anyone else have any bright ideas?

if you were mod you would know that the framing would work, since you would be doing it. making a long, confusing, and incorrect post does not make you innocent. not that im saying you are mod, atm.

It is correct, maybe I didn't explain it well.

Option A - I KNOW that the person I frame will be investigated (i.e. total mod control)

Explanation: There would be no need to claim I watched rodion and saw vodean as the framed player will likely be lynched, bringing up a second player who appears guilty actually devalues the framing action (people will take it less seriously with contradictory information).

Option B: I do not know that the person I frame will be investigated (i.e. mod is like a normal mafia member with a frame action)

Explanation: I now have no excuse for saying that vodean was guilty, the mod is less powerful and if he had not been framed I would have been suspect number 1 when vodean flipped town.

Understand now?

Ok here is how we f*ck up the mods plans today:

1. Post all three of the required statements in every post, the rules dictate that you must post each of them in different posts but there is nothing to stop you posting all of them and making yourself less likely to fail.
2. Bold, italics and underlined on every post.

Top o' the morning
Beam me up, Scotty
Tumbling down the rabbit hole

Jonty- I received no PM last night, it seems as if the mod blocked all actions last night.
CMC- No he didn't.

or the mod just roleblocked YOU. now i wasted a perfectly good night action, and am no more clear than i was yesterday. top o' the morning, or rather bottom o' the morning, cuz this is bull. pmc, im starting to think that you are moddy a little more. its probably just cuz im pissed that you allowed saf to die, but i also think that you could be lying about this. its a perfectly good explanation for what happened. as for your previous post, im not convinced, and still think that you could easily have set this whole thing up.

I'm going to use a lot of WIFOM here and feel free to send it Tumbling down the rabbit hole. But I wasn't 100% backed behind the pmc and vodean switch & metioned my concerns. Also, remember when we had to call him Dirty Nose, well maybe he was trying to redirect us? Anyhow, loads of WIFOM there.

Top o' the morning! I don't have a case yet but I can tell you that my night action was not blocked. I also think there is a good chance that we don't have the roles we think we do. An example is Saf's investigate, I bet both him and the cop were insane or paranoid. I know my role is not what it says.

This is what made me think that all actions were blocked, I will pm slash to see whether my action was just forgotten or not.

So first you say that maybe only I was blocked and then you go on to state that this makes me likely to be the mod, you are right this is bull. Of course I could have set the whole thing up but so could anyone, I am just explaining why I think it would be less likely for me to be the mod as best I could.

Vodean if I am not the mod and you are not the mod then it doesn't matter if your action was wasted as the mod has got us by the balls at night time, the fact the mod wasn't scared to kill saf shows it more IMO. You could still very well be the mod but I don't trust my night 1 action at all.

This is interesting. Flavor and everyone's reactions indicate that all of our actions were blocked last night. And yet you say that you were not...
