vodean is at L-2 and he's online. maybe a few words from you...
although the votes looked more like jokes...
still, going into the night with no clue can't really be good...

Oops.. sorry... too late.

It has been a long day, the strike teams grow restless. We haven’t found any Covenant survivors today. Perhaps we will have better luck tomorrow when the men are better rested. A few night parties have been mobilised to make sure we are not hit in the night, however they are running on barely any sleep.

Tomorrow is going to be a long day and the troops will need their rest. They will sleep in cycles and stay alert. Something doesn’t deem right about finding no Covenant today.

Everyone has survived the night. I noticed strange behaviour coming from Mark this mourning. I hope he clears his head by the time we get the group together. This mourning a grunt was spotted near the airlocks to the ship bay. Sending in strike teams to neutralize him, however it’s odd. It looked as though he were running away from something. Grunts are known to be the lesser of the Covenant, but even so they put up a good fight with any normal marine. I wonder what has gotten it spooked.

Going to join the search myself today. Time to see why we have been having problems with the engine as of late.

maybe... they did say they were sending in strike teams. but i think from the flavor that they missed. this grunt is not really a grunt because it ran. its some sort of human?

I'm guessing since the grunt ran away and they lost it that means someone missed last night. But then who knows, this is suppose to be a game to test new roles.

I disagree. We have no more information than we did then, and we won't unless someone dies. We can either sit on our hands again and let the mafia choose who to kill or we can lynch and as we have no information apart from the scene, I'd suggest a random lynch is the best course. This is confounded by the strict deadline, as it doesn't give us much time to extrapolate information from nothing. Have you got any better ideas or do you wish to continue to stall?

+1. Thank you. There is really no information available, and none will be until someone dies.

actually i think information is available.
i have not played halo (blasphemy  ) but from what i read on wiki, apparently the covenant is an alien alliance.
so i'm assuming people on the spaceship are town while the covenant are mafia.
from reading the scene i understand the covenant isn't still in play.
so i'm thinking that the aliens (mafia) are those that haven't posted yet.
i'm gonna check now to see whoever didn't post.

Wait, the scenes are filled with info? Well that's a load of help since I never played Halo either.

And fyi, this is my first non standard mafia.

Yes, the covenant is an alien race, and typically mafia, but this is "infection" indicating that there are Flood in this game. (Flood is another alien race that is basically a parasite that basically makes the person like a zombie.) so weather or not there are covenant in this game, who knows, but i would go and say... damn. i forgot,

I think i was going to say there are Flood in this game, but i already said that....

You are correct Dim a lot of the time scum will try to submarine in a game,to keep from making a possible mistake in a post that will come back to bite them later.

So yes submarining is a possible scum tell. And that were I got my info on was wiki, about 2 months ago when jak set up the halo mafia game that is still in sign ups

upon checking i realised that everybody posted so my theory is shot down.

at some point i realised soundman has these weird quotes in all his posts so i thought maybe his role says he's an alien and he must include weird quotes in all posts and i thought i was onto something. but in this last page his post has no quotes so this theory also fails.
