Currently we have 7 games "running".
Both of nate's games are dead and Ratchet and Clank has had one post this week so that makes 4.
1. Webcomics has 6 active players max.
2. Princess bride has 6 acitve players max.
3. Mini series has 2 active players.
4. Counter terrorism has 10 alive players.
Making an extreme maximum of 24 active players and half of these are cross overs. I am in two of them and im sure the likes of stroop and suspect are too.
Gone are the days we could have a few 20+ player games at the same time, and the occasional 30+.
We need to get players coming back here or new ones coming in, or else it will just get worse.
I think I may run some newbie non-vanillas, or try and get a vet (if there is one left) to host a vet only game to get a few of the old lot back.

Some small newbie non-vanillas would be nice. I was thinking about creating a themeless 9-player game with an interesting setup, but the setup I was thinking of may be too complex to be called a newbie game. It certainly isn't a boring C9 though. I may decide to run it if Suspect's game fails to start, but I would need someone to check my setup for balance since I'm not an experienced mod.
One thing that could help the site is a change in the deadline rules. I don't like the site's standard "no-lynch deadline" rule. This is what I see happening with that rule:
Day 1: Deadline no-lynch because everyone's lurking and the town has no information.
Night 1: Active Player Dies
Day 2: The town still has no information and fails to reach a lynch.
Night 2: Active Player Dies
Day 3: There are almost no active players left. Game dies.
I like Hologram's deadline rule because it encourages active play and creates a lynch, giving the town more information, encouraging more active play, and so on.
