This report has been written on the request of the Caymanmew (Head Clan Director) so that the above case can be investigated by the C&A Team before a ruling can be made about whether the following CC14 rule has been broken:
In the above game t4mcr53s2 was on one spoil after cashing in a set. He then proceeded to make an attack:
"2024-04-26 02:21:31 - t4mcr53s2 received 3 troops for 5 regions
2024-04-26 02:21:38 - t4mcr53s2 played a set of Port Moody Station, Bridgeport, and Fraserview Station worth 15 troops
2024-04-26 02:21:52 - t4mcr53s2 deployed 18 troops on SFU
2024-04-26 02:21:57 - t4mcr53s2 assaulted Cloverdale from Newton and conquered it from rcfritz"
After doing so, he then proceeded to log off the website thus timing out and not claiming an escalating spoil:
"2024-04-26 03:21:31 - t4mcr53s2 ran out of time".
This prevented our player from eliminating t4mcr53s2 (yellow) and then be able to recash with the extra spoil in order to win the game.
This breaches the rule laid out in the CC14 rules by abusing a known loophole in Conquer Club which in order to stop exploitation by clans has been in Conquerors Cup rules since it's third iteration back in 2013.

Although we cannot confirm the truth of whether he meant to attack or fort it is relevant to the case at hand. After the attack was made t4mcr53s2 made the decision to not end turn “pissed at myself” and as such knowingly log off the website and as such missing the spoil that cost us the game.
This IS game abuse as listed in the tournament rules written by the Clan Directors (for over ten years) and confirmed by every clan that enters the tournament.

This is the order in which he took his turns that evening. This is relevant because it shows that ultimately there is very little order to the order he played them but he did play his easiest turns (1v1 turns against Zipper66) earlier on. I do not believe that you should necessarily play games in a certain order but that SEEMS to the pattern demonstrated by t4mcr53s2.
Why is this important?
If the turn he took when the abuse occurred was actually just to be ‘cash, drop, fort’ then why did he wait till the last turn of the night? Surely that is one of the easiest turns to take? My argument is that IF the intent was to exploit the system then you would leave the turn to last to make it look less obvious.

We made this request to the clan directors before it was revealed that Pink had a 3 card set.

We also believe that regardless of whether he meant to attack to exploit the system or not, the attack was made. I do not go around trying to exploit known loopholes when I forget to attack a 1 to get a bonus, or I accidentally press end assaults instead of continuing to sweep.
Either the attack was done in an exploitative manner or it wasn’t. But it is irrelevant to the case at hand. He knowingly logged out of the website rather than press end turn after a ‘mistake’ was made because he was pissed off. He admits as much in the chat. This breaches the rules of CC14 so although we request no further action be taken other than the game be remade, this is why the C&A report has been written this morning.

TLDR:
Ultimately, it is my honest held belief that t4mcr53s2 did knowingly log out of the website after an attack was made in an escalating game. This meant he did not gain a spoil which would win Team One the game.
Intent about whether he wanted to attack or not is irrelevant when the rule is cut and dry in the CC14 rules:
Game abuse like purposely running out of time or throwing a game is prohibited. The first time a clan breaks this rule in CC14 the game must be re-made (unless the other clan wants the game to stand). Each subsequent violation during CC14 will result in a forfeit of the game.
Although it is not directly in the C&A remit as I do not believe any website rule or abuse has been committed, I would like their judgement be made in order to support our claim to the clan directors that the game should be remade. As we made the request when we were so far ahead should allow for a ruling in our favour.
