can we have a mod ruling on this pls!! All DRS's statement does is target indiduval players, so that 20 plus people are out to kill them in games (thats if anyone takes there bullshit seriously)!

I agree with the topic poster. Whether it is against the rules or not, I believe it tarnishes the reputation of a clan to encourage sabotaging games. Basically, the clan is telling its members, or merely asking its members, to not play in one's strategically best interest for the individual game, but to attempt to single out a specific player. Sure players can be douchebags, I'd be considered a douchebag by many considering in the last month I have received twice the amount of negatives than positives (although if you had checked my feedback given, I had given probably negatives in a 7:1 ratio to positives).

However, to enter a game with the specific intention of sabotaging someone else's game is what I'm addressing. Sure you can sabotage that one person's game by suiciding on him (if it's still happening in game). However if you dislike the person - put him on your foe list, don't stalk the person. I'd say what the proposition of the DRS member is significantly more unsportsmanlike than the comment derogatory comments left by sport (or w/e his name is).

no one said suicide or sabatoge, all mojo said was show proof of defeating 'x' - could be 1v1, could be team game, could be anything. the post by spaceghst44 on callouts was the first post to bring up an issue of suiciding, stalking, throwing games, and issuing unwarranted negative feedbacks.

also, an alliance is defined as an agreement or cooperative action to achieve a certain goal among two or more individuals. seems to me that for an alliance to actually exist there needs to be two or more people in the game in question working towards this goal. if mojo or any other drs member for that sake was in these games helping take out spaceghst44 or anyone else for that matter, that would be gross abuse and in violation of rule 2, however, that hasn't been the case or there's no indication that would ever be the case.

and all we do is target players? when qyu started accusing us of cheating did we join a bunch of standard games and team up on him? no, we kicked his ass in a variety of triples and quadruples games. we don't join standard matches and throw games and set friends up, we participate in team games with one another and prefer to clobber the shit out of you there.

maybe what mojo did was unsportsmanlike but what spaceghst44 did was just as much a broach of accepted conquer club etiquette. he deadbeat a game, verbally attacked numerous drs members, left retaliatory feedback, falsely implicated numerous members of drs with no basis, and issued a call out setting up a system for throwing games (it's locked in the call out forum but a good read - "bounty on all drs members").

i am really looking forward to a mod ruling to shut most of you up.

I believe trap covered it all...only thing i would add is to address lord vordemont's comments, which are clearly off base....a simple hypo illustrates why he is wrong:

Say there are two players that are dying to get into DRS and embark on the same mission of eliminating Spaceghst from a game. They would have NO incentive to ally to knock him out. Why? Because only the guy who actually rolls him out of the game would receive entry into our clan. The other would be left longing for the day when he could sport the glorious colors of the rainbow....if anything, our bounty would create incentive for the two of them to prevent each other from rolling Spaceghst out of the game.

Also, I think something else got lost in all of this. Spaceghst has the option of simply apologizing to us for his clearly inappropriate and egregious behavior (see trap's post regarding the numerous CC rules he broke). That option still stands to date.

And lastly, we wouldn't have to set bounties out if they would just sack up and play us. That actually goes for all of you....quit your whining and join some of the numerous games trap set up and we can settle our differences once and for all

1. However showing proof of defeating of 'x' is basically offering incentives to... what? Sabotage the game. Just because you were able to carefully choose your words doesn't mean they won't have the exact same outcome.

2. I don't care what the other player did - what we are addressing is what your clan's response is. He could have grossly abused multiple CC rules, had multi accounts, etc. I'm merely commenting that I agree with the topic starter on his points that what your clan is doing is quite unsportsmanlike.

3. Assuming the second paragraph was also directed towards me, once again, I never said you guys were breaking any rules. It just merely seems like you're complaining about his etiquette, which to me seems somewhat hypocritical.

4. I believe your clan has displayed a complete and total show of arrogance in this thread. You've basically come in preaching about how awesome your clan is, about how anyone who could possibly think otherwise fails to see the bigger picture, etc. Or at least that's what I've come to gain from this thread.

5. I'm pretty sure I've already seen a mod post, yet not in defense of your clan. Once again returning to the arrogance issue... I doubt we'll get "shut up." Whatever their ruling is concerning actual CC rules, it doesn't take away from the fact your clan has made themselves sound like pompous ........

1. how do you sabatogue a 1v1?

2. this is ridiculous, let rampant abuse run wild?

3. wasn't directed at you, it was at lovo - but, the 2nd paragraph wasnt about etiquette at all, it was a retort to the accusation of gross abuse & secret alliances

4. yea our clan is awesome, you caught me. rainbows & unicorns dominate.

5. mod did post but he basically flamed me calling me dumb, he was pretty accurate too.

if we sound like pompous .....'s then ignore us, all of you complaining about how we act & play haven't played us. ive never played hulmey or the OP, i've played you once and you didnt seem to have an issues w/ me in game. you have a problem w/ how i act in the forum is one thing, but YOU or ANYONE ELSE still havent shown where myself or any other drs member abused the rules or game in any game. before you jump to the defense of some kid maybe you should examine the facts & look big picture. and maybe before you condemn a group you judge every individual independently. it is ridiculous to assign the qualities of the whole to the individual or vice versa and it's something most of you have yet to realize

1. You don't sabotage 1v1's. I don't recall the initial statement, which is what I'm referring to, specifying it had to be 1v1's. I also recall it granting access to *any* member, thus giving the impression your clan was referring to all gametypes.

2. It's basically the same typical argument as "are you willing to stoop to their level," or even "are you willing to even stoop down at all?" Apparently your answer is yes. And if you are willing to do so, which is fine, just expect to be criticized for the actions, just as you are criticizing this player for his own abuses (which I never said I approved of either, I'm merely posting in these forums giving my opinion on a matter).

3. Was a little confused on how you jumped on who you were addressing - merely miscommunication.

4. Yet the arrogance continues. Not with the sarcasm, but with the point that you refuse to address the point (unless you were being serious in the fact that you are honestly simply trying to display a supremist view that everyone else *is* actually stupid, but I don't think that was the intention).

5. erm?

I haven't ignored any of you because you haven't done anything to constitute it by my means (and of course, that's all that's necessary to be on anyone's foe list). I'm merely at a disagreement with your methods/points of view, and am voicing my opinion about it, just as you've done in this thread, and did with your original message to all to eliminate the guy. Whether or not I had issues with you ingame is irrelevant - apparently no vendetta was held between either or us (and I still find none to exist now...). I'm only analyzing this specific incident, not the general picture, not how you generally act, etc. I'm not even defending this "random kid," I'm criticizing your clan's policy.

Concerning judging individuals vs clans, you are highly ignorant to tell me I don't know better of the situation. Each individual member represents the clan he/she plays under. The acceptance of a member into the clan shows that the clan approves of that person's qualities and personality, not just skill. If a clan's only criteria is high ranks, for example, it shows that the only thing they care about is points, and personality is not a factor.

How would I know this? I have been in numerous clans before, I have started many clans myself, and was a master-admin on the site clanwars.cc for an extended duration (bet King Achilles couldn't even fathom me as being an unbiased, calm admin). I know enough about moderating clans and judging them. If you asked me to list the various number of clans I've been in over the years of gaming, I could list 20+. Not necessarily clan hopping, merely over time. And yes, they were highly competitive clans. In one RTS I played, I was at one point ranked the top player (although I must admit the pool of players to pick from was quite dismal), and clan invitations constantly came at me left and right. I have avoided clans here, even after being invited, due to the drama they cause, and to the fact that I lash out a lot easier at people I don't know (and on this site since you encounter a lot of people you don't know, I'd be more likely to ruin the rep of whichever clan I join).

http://www.gamereplays.org/community/up ... 616707.jpg

Yes I played competitively :), and yes I get the bigger picture.

siedshow, while you're always super-cool, you come off as douchey & pompous on online forums in gaming websites. i like your self-confidence but maybe you could work on your mass appeal. i'm glad we had this talk.

well to be fair to have a good grasp of the situation i recommend

flames wars: bounty on qyu

call outs: bounty on spaceghst44
bounty on all drs members (unless specified)

cheating & abuse reports: double rainbow society

general discussion: ban the double rainbow society clan
immortalize the double rainbow society

i just sold the rights to the made for tv lifetime movie, i'm being played by tony danza, hulmey's being played by cher, and spaceghst44 is portrayed by automated mexican film and television star bender rodriguez

decision was made, he posted it in our forum apparently he doesnt give a f*ck about your issues with us since there's no post here

we're not allowed to join standard games and gang up on anyone which we never did so status quo is in effect. he recommended we set up a tournament and play you all but since you've all ignored us and are terrified to play team games against us i guess you guys can continue to cower behind your foe list while we can gloat on the boards without using the b word

flames are also spose to be kept in FW so either a mod should move this FW or clear drs & change the title of this thread so we can all stop posting
