Already in progress as above/below, but still too raw to post in Drafting; started on this on Friday.
I'm thinking of having:
1. starting positions for each player in the pirate ships; 8 in total, two on each rig.
2. NE2, NE3, NE5 etc represent the routes ashore to find the treasure, but the digits represent the shallowness of the water, and therefore there is a restriction on how many reinforcements can be landed on any of those "coming ashore" terts. For instance, NE2 can only receive two reinforcements at any one time.
3. "Coming Ashore" terts will be starting as neutrals as will other island terts.
4. Once ashore, the rest is simple, classic gameplay to fight towards the treasure.
5. Shape of Island is from the classic book, and some of the names will be also, but it will also be interwoven with names from CC.
6. Love the name of the ship Salvation Street Whore. Hehehe!!
