I'd like to see something other than Europe. Fractured Russia was a pretty good idea, as was China. Or give Africa/South America/Asia some extra love in the Map Picker. ;)

'bout time there was a new middle east map as well, I'd say.

Africa was going to be one of my next picks. Though we might need to go over the map limitations a little to make it work.

Fractured Middle East... no way... I can't believe it would ever happen.

Sounds like a good idea but I'd say WAY more than 50-60 territories. I'm pretty sure Fractured America is near 90 or even over 100

No, please not another Europe map. PLEASE!!! And I agree with Bruceswar, one fractured map is good but two is just repetitive. There are soo many other cool ideas out there I would much rather see something different.

As read through few posts, I can easily see and understand everyone's ideas. I will be mulling this over for the next week until the poll is closed.

Meanwhile I have another idea brewing, so I probably will be starting a new thread somewhere over the rainbow. So stay tuned some here in this melting pot.

Okay so far the poll show that the majority of the people who voted want another Fractured map (this will be the last as 2 will really be enough). So I will be (am) working on a "Fractured China" as a few people have suggested. I will get a draft up sometime here in the next few days.

See, now that would be an interesting scenario given all the China is the world's upcoming leader talk that's been going around. Much better than another Europe map in my opinion... here's looking forward to a draft.

Fractured China? Sounds cool! I think that it should also include Mongolia as fractured America includes Mexico.

I want to see Manchuria retake their ancestral lands back from Russia... plus what they should have in China.
Greater mongolia? An independent Tibet. Perhaps India will get some of its forfeited land back. Hong Kong and the former treaty ports could form a confederation. Taiwan is... independent still. And of course, Japan ought to take a slice for herself as well.

Should be good, lots of potential for this map!

Good ideas! Here is what I have so far with the map I'm working from. It's not complete yet, but I thought I would post this now. SO let me know.

Oh it will be soon enough! I am going to have Vietnam take over a 2 or 3 territories from China, and maybe have Taiwan take over a couple as well (hey this is a futuristic map and I'm aloud to have some artistic license right!?).

Well, I think Taiwan ought to stay Taiwan, personally. I mean, you want it rooted in some history and politics, right?

Bring in Manchuria, composed of Chifing, Hulanbur, Amur, Jilin and Liaoning.
Map and info... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manchuria it looks like Korea and Manchuria would get into it over some land. Manchuria would be taking from Russia especially as well.

Korea... Make one Korea because without China NK is done for. Check out this ancient map:

Part of Xizang ought to be Tibet at its current, supposed borders. They're not known for fighting... ever... so I don't see any expansion potential there.

China took a few small pieces of India back in the 70s I believe, Chinese Kashmir and something else. So i imagine India would take that back plus a little extra.

I know the Cantonese are a separate language group, they encompass Guandong and Guanxi, but from what I understand, they've pretty much assimilated into Han China.

If vietnam took anything, it would be, maybe Hunan and Hainan. Traditionally, they've been more interested in grabbing Cambodia and Laos.

In China proper, the Han Chinese area, I'd say keep it whole. It's traditional China.

And again, i'd like to reiterate my enthusiasm for a sort of confederation or league of the former treaty ports... maybe through Shanghai in there as well.
