Add a link to the maps list on the homepage of conquerclub.com
Add the link on the topline where "Home, Instructions, Scoreboard, Forum, Rules, Shop and Help" are located
Specifics:
New topline of the Homepage and all pages of CC would have the following links: Home, MAPS, Instructions, Scoreboard, Forum, Rules, Shop, Help
Link would take all visitors (not just registered members) to the map room so that ALL visitors to the site can see one of the most important parts of conquerclub: the maps. Currently, non-registered visitors to the site cannot access the maps.
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
Advertises the most important part of conquerclub (maps) to all visitors to the site
Will improve the number of pageviews from non-registered members
Could increase the number of visitors to the site who decide to become a member
Allows current members to more easily access the maps. Currently the only access is through the "Start a Game" button which is not intuitive.
Allows current members to quickly access the Maps without navigating through the "Start a Game" Options. Will reduce the need for members to click more than once to navigate. If you want the maps, it currently takes more than one click to get what you want.
Might positively affect Player Retention if additional map information is included about each map.

It doesn't matter what it is called. The suggestion is to get a link up there...call it a "Map Room," call it "Maps," call it "Fields of Battle," call it "Game Scenarios," et cetera, et cetera...
Ultimately visitors to the site need to be able to see the best of the site without being required to join, navigate to a part of the site that is really tough to find!!!!!!

It affects how people view your suggestion. If you never actually say what the "Map Room" is, people will think you want a link to the Foundry at the top. That's what I thought…

I changed the title...and reworded it. Does it make sense now?

Yeah, sounds good. Maybe MAP LIST is better?
Changed it again...THE LIST OF CC MAPS seems fitting...u agree?
that seems like a better name and this is a great idea. Hopes it get implimented.
Yes, it is a good idea. The maps are currently invisible to non-members, hard to find for new members, and difficult to get to for experienced players.

I might add that there have been several comments to my other suggestions where players have pointed out that the"best part of CC" is the maps. If this is true...the maps need to be accessible to non-members via the homepage where they are most likely to see this valuable and important part of the site!
This looks like another good suggestion and maybe some more focus should be spent here. When I first joined, I searched at yahoo or google for "online risk" or something like that and tried a bunch of different search options. I ended up at the official Risk gameboard site and downloaded that option. Then I found a game called "Attack!" on Facebook and liked that a lot better because it was faster and had clickable maps and thousands of players. The official site only allowed me to play against computerized opponents and the Facebook Attack game allowed me to play against real people. It kept score and I liked being in the top of the ranks there, but there were some glitches that allowed players to cheat and freeze the game so it got annoying. I kept playing and they fixed the glitches but there was a lot of what is called "secret diplomacy" on this site and it ended up making me go into games with friends to level the playing field, then it was pointless as it ended up becoming a battle of accounts. I searched online again and came to this site...
Once I was here I couldnt see the maps. So your right. I thought the site was just about Classic and it took me a while to figure it out. if there was something like this that had the maps listed for everyone to see, your right that more people would probably join up and more people would probably get what is going on.
