Concise description:update the join tournament tab
There are quite a few tournaments in signups, and I am doubly worried. I am worried as a prospective Organizer that players are not able to find my tournament in all the noise. Also, I am worried as a player that I am unable to find the tournaments I might want to play in.
Specifics/Details:
I have some ideas as to what can be done.
allow the tournaments to be sorted by tournament type
allow more broad tabs; for example, one tab for quick tournaments, one for tournaments that are part of a series, one for other tournaments
if that is not possible, perhaps these tabs could be allowed as subforums
if even this is impossible/unwanted, perhaps we could come to a consensus on tags that organizers can use to help quick sorting
perhaps an option to she which tournaments are newest, it can be done in the forum, but I think many sign up through the tab, rather than forum, in which case the ideal solution would be for an automatic 'new' tag to appear beside a name for 24 hours
sort by TO
How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
better and more efficient access to tournaments. If I am looking for some new TO trying a radical concept and I want to give support, it would be quicker if I didn't have to filter through all the lates series games. Conversely, if I only ever sign up for 1v1, why not be able to sort for them?

One thing you can do to check for tournament that you might be interested in is post in every tournament. When you post in a thread, it puts a little * on the circle of the thread when you are in the Forum. If you don't want in, just say no thanks or something. That way you can tell all of the tournaments that you haven't looked at quickly.
This:
Means you have already posted in the topic.
This:
Means you have not.

Don't post in a tournament you have no interest in joining! It's like going up to someone in a bar and saying "I don't want to date you". But thank you for using the pics
Important Tournament Notice
The data for ALL of my tournaments has potentially been lost. I am working to recover it but as I am away on business all of this week, there will be some delay. Sincere apologies.

I don't have a problem with someone posting in one of my tournaments that they don't want in. If nothing else, it brings your tournament to the top of the list.

Please don't do this. One thing we don't need in the tournament section is spam, and I will look on this as spam if I see it.
