hiding ranks from people you are playing games with?

have this as an option only .....i think this would be pretty fun,,,,and bring a few people outa the snob leages,,,


maybe ajust the points for these as well...

Could try this on a tourny... but hide there names aswel then you dont have a clue who your playing until the end when you get the results and the person who oganised it posts all the games...

As do I, (the original idea that is) it'd be useful in terminator games. Means you wouldn't instantly be a target for being a major or colonel or whatever.

Hm, so some sort of 'Stealth' option, perhaps selectable in your profile...or when you join/create games.

Could list those who are currently in 'Stealth' as <User 2>, etc.


I think this would be an interesting setting for Terminator games at least...give everyone a fair shot. I personally would actually like to see it for terminator games at least, and perhaps as a tourney option, but not for all.

We'll have to see if it is possible.

Forgive me if this has been suggested before, but I searched through the archives and found no evidence of this type of discussion.

So, my suggestion, is Random Games.

Random Games would involve joining a game anonymously and not knowing who your allies or opponents are potentially until the game was over. Players would be anonymously matched based on skill level. This would cut down on the team games where the top players just group together and beat up on everybody else.

Some code may have to be written to properly match teams.

Your thoughts?
