[GC] Automatically Block Invitations to Unfavorable Settings

Post by 2dimes »

Set it up so you can select settings you really hate so you can't be invited to games with those settings.

You can select settings you hate in your settings.
  • Select the setting/settings you hate or "nil" from the menu.
  • Invitation to game with setting you hate is blocked.
  • You can be invited to game with setting you hate.
This will benifit the site by not anoying people by them accepting invitations to games with a bunch of players they like to find out it has settings that make them consider dead beating.
  • Maybe it will prevent deadbeating.
  • For sure it will prevent you from being invited to a game with settings you hate.

And yet you don't want a like button?!!

Anyway, I think this is great and it should also be implemented for the foe list. Your foe's should not be able to invite you to games.

I know that for both of these scenarios (bad settings for you and players you don't want to play) you can just decline the invitation, but what do you do if it is a team game and they invite one of your regular partners and he joins before you because he thinks that you are on board with the game? The options are to leave your friend high and dry or to play a game you don't want to play.

Lolz. Well if you remember, I agreed that the like option would make sense for suggs but not much else. However, I think I can manage to type out three words when I think a sugg is a good one. ;)
