experimentation game type

* Suggestion Idea:
How about making a game setting that reduces (or eliminates) the number of points exchanged each game?

* Specifics:
In this game type the base number of points gained/lost (currently 20) would be lowered to 5 (or a different number, or a drop-down box of options).

* Why it is needed:
This would encourage people to experiment with new maps instead of being afraid of losing points while they are getting used to the different strategies. Also, it would encourage people to create public games by eliminating the chance that they will loose 80+ points to a lucky Cook.

the second part is why it will be rejected, once you get to the top all you have to do is play this for a very low number and you can lose a lot but still be at the top

Herakilla:

At least they would be in public games - who cares if they are only risking 20 pts or so (when playing cooks). Isn't playing the game more important than points?

i agree with you there wholeheartedly but there are many who think the exact opposite, just check out those with lots of negative feedbacks they are generally the players who play only for points

I definitely like this idea. Why not totally eliminate the point exchange? That would make the most sense.

Why? I mean, look at the chat in Game 986486 - this system is like a monopoly where people play to preserve rank rather than enjoy the game.

If there are this many reasons for a change and it has STILL been "rejected many times", can we get an explanation why?
