Terms of War:
45 Total Games
8 singles (Each map is best of 5) (2 trench max = no round limit)
12 dubs (2 trench max = 30 rd limit if trench)
12 triples (1 trench max = 30 rd limit if trench)
12 quads (1 trench max = 30 rd limit if trench)
1 tiebreaker

No Unlimited Reinforcements
No Freestyle
No Nukes
No Beta
No Random
No Manual

Maps = once per set
Fog Courtesy is in Effect!
12 game limit (singles series counts as 1)
Tie breaker on random map, fog, no trench, escalating, chained, quads. Tie breaker match will only be played once all other games are finished and only if necessary. Tie breaker game will be created by TNC in Set 2.

1st set: TNC sets 4 singles and 6 quads home games, FISO sets 6 dubs and 6 trips home games
2nd set: FISO sets 4 singles and 6 quads home games, TNC sets 6 dubs and 6 trips home games

I think we've messed up somewhere along the line MoB, or I've misunderstood - we've ended up with a 22 game war looking at the above.

The proper amount should be:

8 singles (Each map is best of 5) (4 trench max (2 each) = no round limit)
12 dubs (4 trench max (2 each) = 30 rd limit if trench)
12 triples (2 trench max (1 each) = 30 rd limit if trench)
12 quads (2 trench max (1 each) = 30 rd limit if trench)

Total: 44 games

1st set: TNC sets 4 singles and 6 quads home games, FISO sets 6 dubs and 6 trips home games
2nd set: FISO sets 4 singles and 6 quads home games, TNC sets 6 dubs and 6 trips home games

(At least that's how I thought it was working from the PM conversation we had - the negotiation numbers were per set not for the entire war)

22 each = 44 :-)

quads in the first set were to enable the trench game(s) not to hold things up?

edit: shouldn't matter if we play our one map in the first set anyway?

Yeah could well be just me being stupoid I just wanna make sure it's all clear :-P

And the quads were never all gonna be in the first set in the other thread - it was always gonna be split like that.

Should be a fun fight, we won't lose by as many as you think! In fact we might not lose at all if crispy picks better maps, settings and teams than I do :D

One query - "maps once per set" means we (or you) could play exactly the same maps/ settings/ teams in both sets?

The way I understood it is our first set can only use any given map once - but if they pick the same map for their set it's fine, then all maps come back into play for the second sets.

As things stand both clans could pick exactly the same maps, settings and players in set 2 as in set one, unless they wish to use trench quads and trips, but the 2nd use of those maps could still be quads for quads and trips for trips with the same players, just no trench. Not saying that I'd object to playing the same 2/3 maps and settings twice, but it does need to be clear whether this is what is intended and therefore likely to be used.

But in set 2 we're picking singles and quads, so anything we picked for trips and dubs will be different - there will be no way either clan can pick exactly the same map and settings twice (assuming "settings" also extends to how many players on each team)

Fixed - 44 games, +1 for tiebreaker

I thought this was the case at first as well. But as crispy said, we are alternating what game types we play, so it is impossible for the same clan to pick same settings and map twice. You may see the same map twice, but that is it.

How do you have a best of 5 out of 4 games? In the singles that is.

its really 20 games total for 1v1. So if TNC picks 1v1 on classic starring Me.

One of FISO members has to play me 5 games on Classic. Whoever wins more games, gets ONE point towards the final score. This is to make the 1v1 games more fair, because it can be debated that 1v1's could have a lot of luck involved if one player gets to go first and/or gets a good drop
