Its not just the playin round afos and tofu still playing ccup3final. So you have 5teams not able to start round 1. That means 5 sets of warsthat might not of even started when the rest are ready for round 2. So are you guys wanting to start now nominating your clan for the playins lol

i was wondering the same thing... we could have nice, relaxed first round... this way, im guessing we will have start somewhere around October... 2014 :s
but, it is decided, so i guess we will have to trust them they made right decision and that they will make schedule which will prevent 6 months between rounds

Another vote for complete draw right away. There are 3-5 matchups that woun`t be able to play immediatelly, yes, but I can`t see why other 11-13 matchups wouldn`t start earlier.

We can hold the second draft in the next few weeks. I honestly never expected anyone from TOFU to support that since the clan they play will inevitably be hounding them to start. We will do the next live draft soon and the clans that can start may start. It will be exciting.

What's wrong with forcing clans to start playing right away regardless if they are still active in the previous cup? It's not going to dramatically change anyone's gamecount.

because 6 teams are playing a playoff to get 3 places in round 1... the event will never be complete in 1 year unless they split it up into 2 events. but this is for next years discussions.

well , next year maybe take option 3 into consideration, i even create format with 36 clans,, and no play in round.

then when you get to round 2 will that start if your opponents are finished then the next and the next.. so in affect you could eventually end up with a team in the quarter or semis with other clans 2 wars behind. and them clans harassing the other clans to hurry up and finish there wars...

i admit this would be nice to do but is it worth all the hassle it would cause.when really the end date will be the same as it would if you didnt do it.. the format was set up that play ins would happen then the draw would take place for the 1st round. all the clans taking part signed up for this to happen this way. lets just leave the format alone now instead of having 10 pages of debate over the 1st round should start now or in 4 weeks.

im not from TOFU(or AFOS), but i dont think they will have problems playing first round CCup4 and CCup3 finals simultaneously. they can have their best players focus on finals, and slackers like COF, Fenrir or Dako can play first round of CCup4...
but eventually, it is up for them to choose.

Well i guess that since you and cof are ok with it and afos leadership say they are ok with it then it should happen.because from what i remember it was put this way so you 2 were not playing last. years event and this years at the same time at the request of yourselves.

I just wanted to see the draw so we knew who we would be facing. Whilst we wouldn't want to start the new challenge concurrent to the CC3 final we could nevertheless start preparing.

A successful challenge is more often than not one that has been painstakingly researched.
