Ah, that's an excellent point. As I've said before, xml isn't my strong suit. Well, I suppose a potential alternate plan would be to use yeti's commander/ship concept, each flagship consists of an admiral and a command (instead of bow and stern), control both for +2, command counts toward fleet bonus.

That's a good alternative in case it doesn't come out the way we would like it (which I'm fearing is going to happen …). If we're to go down that route I would think you could utilize the 1,4 idea, placing 1 on the Admiral and 4 on the Command (more power = more neutral). And I do suppose it's best to have but one tert from each Flagship count to the Fleet bonus? It's more realistic, among other reasons (+2 is already big incentive, both would place a massive amt. of power on each tert, etc.) …

If you hold a Fleet bonus AND the relevant Flagship, then the Flagship bonus is absorbed into the Fleet bonus.... so the +2 flagship bonus only applies if you don't hold the fleet bonus.

No Max. The basic process is that this map must obtain a graphics stamp, then be moved to the Final forge for any final adjustments and xml completion before it goes up for live BETA play. At the mo, i am awaiting opinion from one of our most trusted experts on xml to clarify something for me, so it will be another few weeks before this goes live.

Hi Cairns,

I just noticed that some terrs names (for example Royal Soverign) are a little transparent while the rest of the terr names seem to be solid black. Is this intentionally? I would suggest that they are all consistant as I believe this would look better.

I checked the Royal sovereign and the colour was different on the font from the rest.
But i'll check all the others before i split the maps.

Algesiras borders Tounant so it cannot bombard it, but yes both Algesiras bow and stern bombard Mars.

Algesiras borders Tounant so it cannot bombard it, but yes both Algesiras bow and stern bombard Mars.

great then my assumpstion is correct but maybe lower the cannon acouple pixels so the tip is a little more off the sail
that way it won't cause as much confusion unless it throws the angle for to much then keep it

this map is awesome and perfectly captures one of the most important battles in history
Trafalgar redefined battle and i believe does the same for CC
