YP_Legend wrote:More space between the buttons might do the trick. They are awfully close together. I think you might be misunderstanding me here.....i would not like a confirmation on every attack you make, just the END ATTACKS button , its a button you only click once a turn. 1 confirmation is not so bad, especially with the consequences involved. It would take 2 seconds extra a turn. Regards,

accidental end attack

Post by killerbee »

Hi all,

Is there any possibility of moving the 'end attack' button away from the 'attack' button or have a 'end attack confirm' button.

cheers

You could always have Confirmation pop-ups like "Are you sure you wish to finish your turn?" or for attacking or fortification, so there are no more mistakes. Like thinking that "Albania" was "Arabia" and fortifying the wrong country.

Popups would be A) evil, B) annoying, and C) javascript. I think a simple checkbox next to the [End X] button would suffice.

It's been suggested a few different times in other threads, but I think some sort of feature is warranted due to the actual large amount of people doing it (at least once).

I like any idea to fiddle and/or move end attacks and fortify button, many a time i have hit end fortify (just yesterday for instance) and have lost valuable help to my teammate.

'End attacks' warning pop-up!

Post by General Mayhem »

could you possibly add something simple to the 'my settings'.

I keep playing and sometimes without realising i click the 'END' attack or END fortify by mistake. Such a simple mindless error but easily made, i bet by lots of people. Its driving me nuts!

Could a warning box pop-up before endings, that requires an okay click??

I put it on my to-do list.

By making it a setting, poeple who need confirmation will have it and those who don't won't get an annoying popup message.

Will there be an option to have a confirmation checkbox right on the same page with the button? For those people who need confirmation but don't want to be annoyed?

Would confirmation people rather have a checkbox or a popup??

Maybe just put the button farther away from the attack button...that would solve my idiotic clicking of the thing...NOT a pop up is my vote otherwise

no pop up as my computer blocks those...move it away from the other buttons or a check box would be best...

Just moving the END commands(Fort and attack) further to the right would work fine.

Moving the button would work the best, but if that is not easily done a checkbox would wholeheartedly be more preferred than a pop up.

Seeing as we're all stating our opinions as fact:

A checkbox would be more effective than simply moving it.
