I think what he means is he wants to read what his teammates say (for playing) without having to see the things other say.
To answer your question, there is no way to do that as far as I know, but you could suggest to your teammates that they communicate with you via your profile wall, or that they send you a Private Message.

But seriously, I don't reccomend that, it would get annoying to foe new people every time you join a game, and you would eventually run out of peole to play against.
