If they dont read it, it just stays there.
Once they read it, it moves to sent messages.

know that this is true for one reciepent.
if you sent the same message with multiple reciepients then it sits there untill it is read. however i am not sure if that must be all or just some. just know that with multiple reciepients there is something else going on

I think that once it is read by one recipient it is moved to sent.

BGtheBrainand jefjef, the reason that i dont know for sure is that i have an msg in the outbox that at least 3 reciepients have replied to and a fair few others not..

chapcrap wrote:What about if you send someone a message and they delete it without opening it?

That would be the same as a message that isn't read, so it will stay in your outbox forever then.

I would think that it would not be like that...
I'll send you a message and you delete it so we can test.

Sorry, I opened them because I didn't know it was a test PM. You should have put in the first one that the 2nd one was a test.![]()
If you want to test it again, then send another PM (put "Don't open this!!!" in the title) and then I will delete it and report back here.

I deleted it without opening. It should still be in your outbox now I think.
Night Strike wrote:That's because it moves to the Sentbox as soon as the player opens their Inbox, not when they open the individual PM.

Is that so? I'm not concvinced. Let's make a new test.
I will send chapcrap 2 PM's and then he should open 1 and not open the 2nd (but he opens the Inbox). Let's see where the PM's end up in my Send/Out Box.
chapcrap wrote:Forza, I opened the first PM and have not touched the other. What say you?
Sent messages will appear in either the Outbox or the Sent messages folder. As long as the recipient(s) have not yet read the message, it will stay in the Outbox. As soon as someone reads the message it will be archived to the Sent messages folder. If the administrator allows it, you can edit messages after sending them as long as they are in the Outbox and the recipients have not yet read them.
