Yeah, for the record, when I made this thread, I didn't give one thought to owenshooter. Were there allegations that Andy was trolling him? I really should read the thread about him.

If so, let me explicitly state that this was just an impulsive thing (you guys know how I can be). I just happened to see a .gif of a monkey pulling a dog's tail, thought it was funny, and I know that Andy's whole schtick is the monkey thing, so I figured since he's in a position of authority it makes for that whole 'ironic' angle, so "haha", dumb joke and an excuse to post a silly .gif.

I didn't expect AAFitz to go off the deep end with it and post EVERY SINGLE monkey video on YouTube in one post, effectively blocking the material to use for strategic bumping (you know, so we can see this thread on the first page for as long as possible, or whenever anyone finds funny monkey media). Of course, I also don't think AAFitz gave it that much thought. My guess is he just didn't filter himself or exercise any economy of posting, as we all know he's wont to do. (To be fair: sometimes his 9 million word posts are worth reading and are often well thought out, this forum isn't hostile towards lengthy posts, and we all make them)

And I certainly didn't expect for this to turn into something political. It didn't start out that way, and it isn't going to go that way. Leave the owenshooter issue in another thread; this should remain a lighthearted counterpoint to those threads in which valid criticisms and concerns are raised. Keep this thread completely invalid and inarticulate, please.

First off, I simply made a story with them.
Secondly, you didnt expect aafitz to post too much?
Thirdly, Did you just write an entire paragraph about how I write too much?
Lastly, do we get to moderate our own threads now?

As far as what you intended.. Im not entirely sure that matters. I will hazard a guess you've posted once or twice something that the originator of a thread did not intend.

I agree with you about the politics, and owenshooter thing...but at the same time...not intending, and not expecting are two different things altogether.
