Changing username

Postby Falkomagno on Thu Sep 08, 2011 3:59 pm

I just realized that certain top player, which is identified with some sort of farming, even though he keeps playing within the rules, have just changed his username. That's cool for him since all the negative connotation of his previous username is erased, now replaced by a new user name, with no history.

There is an announcement where this new feature has been depicted?

They seem to allow username changes if your username contains personal information, and I assume that D**** was this certain player's real name.

People spew bullshit when they say allowing people to change usernames would be too hard for this site. It's been done before. It's just been done again.

Farming? CC admin, THAT is baiting/trolling.
Farming = playing ?-new=recruits. I don't do that.

I am not completely sure how is that baiting - he only stated the fact and I do not consider a factual statement to be trolling/baiting. Truth hurts? Then again, I'd be kidding myself into thinking that you'd care...
But... It was so artistically done.

Why am I not surprised you would come up with such a statement. The speed limit may be law but the moral issue is something different....never mind, this must just go over your head.

I do wonder how it is admin managed to leave your username as it was for so long before getting round to doing something about it. testament to their sharp focus and their 'on the ball' way of doing things no doubt.

So are we not allowed to mention Hoekstra now? Seems a little crazy as it has been littered all over the forums for months...a quick search over the forums for this name gives 654 matches.

Of course he will, for that is what he is.He cannot help himself, he just needs the approbation of people in an on-line community who play a virtual game.

It matters not that he changed his name, this thread will always be there to remind those who don't know his antics.
