You mean like the fact that they're spending their time coding this utter crap instead of implementing the suggestions that have been in the To-Do list for four years? Something of substance like that?
The customer's perception of what is easy or difficult seems to be the exact opposite of what is. I knock off a quick fix in 45 minutes and the customers are totally blown away. They talk as if I just built the Taj Mahal and they want me to marry their daughter. Then I spend 2000 hours busting my balls coding something for them and they say, "not bad for a quick fix."
