Again, my work on the new dice stats feature slowed down the website. I will have to do some database maintenance before I can finish the feature. Sorry :-(

I'm surprised we can still call them "dice" with the new pictures and all. I'd be very much in favour of regular dice if there isn't some lawsuit pending.

just took a turn in game 9036384 at 2011-05-09 15:25:23, according to the game log. each move, whether it was deploying, attacking, moving troops, or whatever, took at least 5 seconds each.

**Just realized my "CC Time" was 1 hour too early - thus, 14:00 would be 15:00, etc.**

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Lack has tracked down a couple of reasons why a few slow-downs occur. Over the next couple of weeks, I think we'll be doing some Forum and Website Performance updates that should target a few of these issues we've identified.

Thanks for your patience and posting. Continue your assistance, and we'll see if we can identify any other trouble spots.

I'm unsure of whether or not the "Join Speed Games" lag would be fixed by the future update Andy mentioned, but it's happening quite a bit for me at the moment. 12:24 PM CC Time.

I was unable to log in or access CC about 8 hours ago; the site kept on timing out and bringing up the generic "page is unavailable" holding page. This may have been an issue on my end, although other sites seemed to be working OK.

Game 9065783 - 10 minutes ago from now.

It wasn't completely unavailable, as I could make an in-game action by logging out and logging back in again each time.

Site seems to be at 100% now - after my induced loss, of course.

Absolutely plagued by communication errors this morning. I'm having to copy/paste everything I write in team chat as half the time I get a comm error and lose what I've just written.

Ditto taking turns, comm errors on deploy and attacks

Not just speed games.

More detail:

ONLY actual attacks time out. Dropping troops, and forting (also switching between phases) works fine.
Problem is bypassed by making an attack, going back to My Games page, and re-entering game. Takes a shitload of time however. Not ideal for making large runs. Bombarding at best.
