Because you've googled and visited sites that involves certain keywords like '"Risk'' ''Free Online play'' and bla bla you get this advertisement. From all people who see it probabbaly 90% is allready a member of CC.

It's called targeted marketing, can be very effective. You don't want to show up for people looking for "Say yes to the dress"!

What's odd is that we have so many creative players on this website and then this advertizement is made of merely some lines of text on a white background?

We were not declining because of busted multies, but we were increasing because of them. lol
This is early June's numbers btw, The numbers are usually lowest in early August I think.

You are missing the point of my post... CC is what it is.. the other site is what it is. If CC went down for a week or 2 I would expect some people who are on CC to move over there. It is just how things work.

People leave CC for all types of reasons. Some tire of the game, some move to other websites, and some are banned for a number of reasons.

P.S. If you think CC is "Shyte" and the other website is so good... then you should be there CC still has the largest community by far and is the best online CC there is. Nothing else can compare.
