Community Input and help required please

It has been forcibly brought to my attention by other members of the white trash pantheon that there is a sadly neglected worthy soul toiling in the fora trenches on this site.

I thought for a long while as to how to reward this exceptional player and poster. Thoughts of increasing the length and girth of his procreative member were instantly dismissed, as the geese he cavorts with are not fussy. Granting him divine dice for an interval of time would not be welcomed, as he likes to win on merit. Many other ill suited ideas flashed through my divine cerebellum. Then I had a moment of sheer genius.

betiko has been clamouring and shamelessly touting for acclaim or attention from the community on this savvy and balanced smooth running site. After keenly watching the antics of his until recently colleague in SoC, the supreme logician lt.Futt. He(betiko) started this thread http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewto ... 6&t=198400in the hope that someone would start a thread with a list he could be on, or hopefully top.

Community please join me in rating betiko 1star in all categories. Lets all pull together to get him on the list in the link above. Please include kind tags such as - friendly, balanced play, leader, and other tags likely to make his chest puff out with pride and gratitude.

With a concerted effort by the community and all the friends and clanmates of betiko I think we can drop his ratings below those of dildobaggins

I believe that with your help, we can give betiko the attention and notoriety that he desires and richly deserves.

Actually, the request to the community is a competition between me and bogan, who can get the fastest ratings drop. Bogan is probably too nice in game chats, and starts with a handicap, he's 4,8 vs my sweet 4,7. huh!!!!

That may not be my most recent rating of tigger tot. Of course this could be a case of me asking for the community to act collectively to massage betiko's ego. If I rated betiko 1stars it would just be a nice but empty gesture. He will be more touched and grateful if the community at large, not just his friends help in this quest.

It is pretty funny. I love how at least a quarter of "cases" in C&A are about ratings "abuse". Why have a system that is open to abuse? FYI what we are all trying to do for betiko is not ratings abuse, is a well meaning and thought out plan to help him reach a personal milestone.

my general dislike for and confusion with forum posts notwithstanding, i feel the need to make a comment here about ratings. i like ratings. sometimes when one has low self-esteem it gives one a warm and fuzzy ego boost to see a whole page of 5s. it's particularly nice when one isn't very good at much else...like map strategy and little things like that. and...i would rather play with 4.8s and above than with 4.5s and below. for sure! a suggestion: i would like to have a place added on the ratings page where the rater could add a bit of clarifying commentary (say like 100 characters or so) if necessary to explain a rating given in more detail.

Thank you ma'am for your contribution. May I suggest you send betiko an invite to a poly game whilst he still has a +4.5 rating. I figure he will get his wish and drop below 3stars by the beginning of feb. I wish that my e-feelings were that invested in CC that I could get a warm fuzzy from good ratings. I often wonder what life would be like if I was a nice person. The only enjoyment I get out of ratings is replying with harsh words to "interesting" ratings left for me by jealous haters.
