Is inappropriate feedback

Post by Natewolfman »

things to keep in mind before reading
1) this dosnt involve me on either end, its 2 players in a tournament i have hosted
2) I move it here to general public after heated debate with player through PM's in which he (in this expert opinion  ) didnt know what he was talking about XD

The Setup
Doodle Earth, freestyle 1v1 game

bigdaddyslim2
nameless1

bigdaddlyslim left a negative feedback to nameless1 because durring a freestyle game when big would start a turn, nameless would start his turn directly afterword, thereby effectvly taking his turns consecutivly... He left a negative feedback stateing "he is a cheater, he has no sportsmanship at all, take's his turns back to back so you cant break his bonus what low down dirty player, do not play this guy.."

Now, is this really cheating? i say no... in fact what happened in this game is really the ONLY reason to play a freestyle game at all, the ability to take your turns at the same time and to be able to time your turns to block or attack at the most effective time

thoughts? opinions?

No, this is not cheating. First off, nameless1 is not taking turns back to back because bigdaddyslim2 is taking his turn in between. Secondly, negative feedback from the sore loser is lame (I'm guessing that he could not handle nameless1's agility timing his turns) and what your view that freestyle is [...] the ability to take your turns at the same time and to be able to time your turns to block or attack at the most effective time [...] is dead on.

bigdaddyslim2 should obviously avoid freestyle games since he doesn't seem to know the game and never leave retaliatory feedback after getting outplayed. It's bad form, unsportsmanlike and makes you look like an idiot.

Official CC Play Order for Freestyle games
In a freestyle game it doesn't matter in which order players take their turns. Players can even play simultaneously! After the last player takes his turn, a new round begins immediately. The player who triggers a new round is blocked from taking a second back-to-back turn and must wait until either an opponent begins their turn or half of the round passes.
Please call these player to read what is write in Game options, maybe he will understand how Freestyle working, and then maybe he will remove neg, feedback.

he is a cheater, he has no sportsmanship at all, take's his turns back to back so you cant break his bonus what low down dirty player, do not play this guy..

Seems like that feedback would be removed simply because it is not based on the facts of the game:
#1... how are you a cheater? sounds like a retaliatory response from a poor loser.
#2... no sportsmanship at all? probably feels like that when a player is getting whupped,
but it sure looks like the poor sport here is babydaddybitch2 who had no reponse in the game
and chose to do it with feedback that isn't based on reality.
#3... back to back turns? it's a 2-player doodle game for crissakes and there are no back-to-back moves.
#4... you can't break his bonus? NO, you couldn't break his bonus, which is kinda the point of play.
#5... low down dirty player? Your opponant's height and hygene should not be poked fun at and
a personal attack is not a legitimate reason for leaving a negative feedback.
#6... do not play this player? NO, you should definitely not play this guy again babydaddybitch2,
since it is painfully obvious that he has your number and you cannot seem to lose gracefully.
