I am totally in agreement with your viewpoint on this issue, but,

This poll seems kind of pointless to me. This is like starting a poll,
"How much should premium cost?"
"How many hours a day should Lack spend programming updates for the site?"
"Should the mods be paid for their services?"

I kind of disagree 72. This is something that admin could change without loosing much. I can't imagine that there are that many multi's buying back. So I don't think that the loss of that income would be something would significantly impact CC's income. I could be wrong, but if I'm right, then the decision could be made with little consequences.

If CC admin sees that people feel strong about this, they may change it. However, seeing how many votes there are, and the spread, perhaps most of the people on the site don't feel very strongly about it.

It's on the front freaking page.

When you make an account you check the little box that says 'I won't do this!'.

If you DO 'do this'... no second chance. Period.

It's terms of service, plain and simple.

never was my answer, a strict one rule would be runner up (1 being the player has to go back to their original account)...

i hope to see this changed some day

The mods should at least regularly update a list of all multi-offenders/buybackers, so it would be easy for the most concerned of us to avoid this whole issue all together. However, that leaves the less-forum-aware players at the mercy of immoral buybackers... r

How about buy back multis have their names in a different color to alert us non multi cheaters to who they are? PINK would be cute. YELLOW may be better.

created the poll so i could see a rough estimate of how many multis we have running around here... cause those are the only people that would vote for allowing multiple buy backs...

it appears we have quite a few...

or maybe one guy voting many times :geek: :geek: :geek:

In the words of the great poet and actor Curtis Jackson:
Yeah yeah, get more money, more money

They're going to stop allowing money back soon as they're going to dislike getting money.
"Some motherfuckers are always trying to ice skate uphill."

Duane: You know what they say about love and war.
Tim: Yes, one involves a lot of physical and psychological pain, and the other one's war.

Then to avoid the persecution of having the unwanted color, they will play on their new multi account.

But really...even if people feel strongly, what will they do? How many people feel strongly unhappy enough to not re/purchase their premium account? More than the number of multi-buybacks? I doubt it. So in the end, it's a business decision.

This was my point exactly. Regardless of the poll outcome, nothing will change unless it makes dollars and sense for those who stand to benefit financially from this site. The only option you have is to vote with your wallet, as foxglove says above.

Otherwise, it's an exercise in futility, like a US poll asking, "Should Congress repeal their automatic pay increases?" Of course the poll is going to be overwhelmingly yes, but do you think Congress would propose such a bill and vote it into law? Not unless the threat of being removed from office by their constituents' votes was very serious.

I think it is ok if they buy back in, usually it is before their year of premium is up so they contribute more money to the site. eventually they will have to stop making multi's and buying back due to financial loss. I say let them keep wasting their money on the site as long as they want:) only helps CC
