Below are the rules as often used in Mafia games, borrowed from numerous Moderators in addition to a few new entries of my own creation
*Evidently we have too many noobs in this game that need it spelled out to them that night posting is not and will not be accepted in the game. Posting there will lead to either severe post restrictions up to modkills/blacklists from me.*
1. This game is moderated by me (LSU Tiger Josh), I am the law. Whatever I say goes. If I make a mistake I’ll do my best to fix it. All roles will be given out randomly via random.org
2. Do not quote your win conditions in the game. Anything else for this game, I don't mind.
3. If you forget your role, or you delete it, that is your own fault. I suggest not doing either.
4. All ‘votes’ and ‘unvotes’ must be in bold and state "Vote". If they are not, they will not be tallied. (I.E. Vote: Guybrush Threepwood )
** If you vote two or more times consecutively without an unvote in between them, then the first vote will be the one that gets tallied. If I can't read the vote aka small font or weird color it will NOT count. Amunitions are in short supply. You may not vote or unvote more than 6 times in a day.* If you receive 5 or more votes, but don't get lynched you will keep a 1 permanent vote carryover as a "wound".
5. Killing requires a majority of the town vote, and once the majority has been reached any and all unvotes will not be counted. With this being a war days will extend the full 72 hours as you may lynch more then one person up to three people per day. Should a majority vote "no lynch" then the day will end early. All votes on the lynched only will automatically be "unvoted" once I have confirmed a person will be lynched at the end of the day.
6. Once your death scene has been posted, you are dead. You can no longer post anything revealing or of substance. Whining is alright, **Voices from beyond the grave** are alright, as long as nothing of substance is revealed.
7. You may vote "no lynch" to end the day without a death.
8. The game will not be discussed outside this thread, unless your role specifically says you may do so.
9. Do not edit/delete previous posts. Whatever you say goes into historical record. Edits will result in 1 permenant vote from the mod each time.
10. Day scenes I write will be fun and comical, don’t read too far into them. Clues or game information may or may not be hidden in the text.
11. Joking in the thread is fine, but don’t let it get carried away and take over as spam.
12. Be attentive and active in the game. If I see you are not posting at all, I will prod all those who are inactive. If there is no timely response, you will be replaced. If a person does not talk during the daytime, they will be modkilled/replaced unless I have received prior information regarding it.
13. Each game ‘day’ will last Three 24 hour days. I will try to remind everyone if the deadline is near, and to look toward voting. After each lynch,72 hour day cyle is not reset so it is possible to lynch up to three people each day. If no majority is reached at the end of the three 24 hour day, a ‘no lynch’ will be forced, sending the game into the night phase as will a majority vote of "no lynch".
14. Similar, each game ‘night’ will not last more than TWO 24 hour days. I will try to remind all those who have night choices when the deadline is near. If at the end of the second 24 hour day I have not received your night choice, you will have lost your choice action (I.E. for mafia, there would be a ‘no kill’, etc). Nights will last for 48 hours unless I receive everyone's night actions prior to 48 hours. If you don't wish to use your night action I would appreciate it if you sent me a pm telling me that. All night actions regarding kills, protections, etc. should be sent to me via pm on conquer club. Members that can talk to one another need not send me their "conversations. Just the end decisions.
15. If you have any questions about whether you should or shouldn’t do something, or just need some clarification, feel free to PM me.
16. Voting to kill the mod will result in getting three times the votes on yourself for the first offense, six times the votes on the second offense, and modkilled on the third offense.
17. Have fun and keep the attacks from getting personal.
18. Your first post in this thread must contain the word "LSU" in it or you will get a PR for the first day

A long time ago there was this great empire called Great Britain. They had the best naval power in the world and a very strong army on land. They went out and founded several new colonies in this previously undiscovered area. The land was called America. On this land, Britain installed governors and rulers that were loyal to the crown. Parliament back in London viewed these colonies as a way to get revenue. For a while, the people in America were happy with this arrangement. Unfortunately something happened.
Parliament kept passing more and more taxes on these colonists without giving them the chance to have a representative in the government. This led to much anger and eventually something called the Boston Tea Party. In the Boston Tea Party, several colonists including patriots like Samuel Adams dressed up like indians and went aboard ships to dump out a shipment of team into the harbor in protest of the taxes that the colonists were being accessed.
Result: the Intolerable Acts which made colonists even more mad. Now, we have the British Army located here in America trying to stamp out this rebellion. Will America succeed and get their independence again or will the British continue to rule America and change history. You will decide.
