I and others are quite confused over this as many of us have heard that Hasbro has basically put ownership on the global Classic style map for ConquerClub gameplay. Can we use a global map of the world or not?

Would someone please just tell me straight forward whether or not we can still use a global map for Classic gameplay?
With the New World Order gaining more and more influence in the world, why can't we use a global map that uses Unions instead of continents? EU, NAU, AFU, ASU, SPU, and maybe even a Middle Eastern Union. Change some attack points and/or country/territory names, and all should be good, right?

Now go and make a much better version.
