I already shut off Bob statistics and use this update -- like it, especially that the number are black -- never could read the damn yellow numbers. Now if you can just get clickable maps to work when the game chat is at the top it would be great.

As for fog - always had fog analyzer, so no change.

I wish conquerclub weren't 1280 pixels wide. Honestly. w3schools says that close to half of all web traffic is only 1024 px wide -- and many of us who are don't browse full screen.

I get the value of the data, I've used a bookmarklet that does this for years. However, I only need the data once in a while, not all the time, and side scrolling sucks.

this is the worst update i have ever seen.
part of being a good player is taking the time to analyze your opponents territories adn stats for yourself and putting them in a chart for the unskilled or lazy player takes away a lot of strategy.
this is a horrible addition.

The previous update with number of cards was great. I play from my iPhone and can't scroll the log. But this new update isn't good. Number of territories is nice, but number of armies is too much. Whoever takes the time to count gets a small advantage and whoever doesn't count, well that's their choice and their problem. Please get rid of total armies!!!

I like this update. I use CM but tried to download bob and could not figure it out. This definitely will save me counting players territs and troop counts as I often do.

I agree there should be a disable button...why not options are always nice.F

I also think this should be a premium only feature. Why not give us that pay an advantage.

A possible suggestion for those that think it is unfair...perhaps make it display only your information and not all players information.

I have never used BOB so don't know if it shows troops due...but I think it is pointless to have a FOW game and a troops due number that updates constantly. If someone gets a bonus it will be easily noticeable instead of just showing up as a neutral taken. Those of us that know can figure what their troops due went up and likely pinpoint which bonus they took...where before it could be a random guess and chance of luck.

However if BOB does it I can see what you guys are doing it to compete, and I say why not, if other people have it I want it to and I can't dl or figure out BOB.

You still can. Update BOB to the latest version and ignore the box to the right of the map. Spending the extra time necessary to make every single update that not everyone likes an optional feature is not an effective or efficient use of lackattack's programming time.

i didnt know that BOB even existed. and the fact that there is a fog analyzer means that you must just suck at this game if you need to cheat like that. i'm pretty upset but i guess that doesn't make those programs (or the new update) go away. automized risk is for fags.

BOB Makes CC really slow.... Nobody in their right mind plays with BOB on that is into speed freestyle. Just let it disable it!

I like it, it helps me to decided on some of my moves. The other thing i still have the green dot telling me its my turn so i dont think that is a programming thing. the clock also works just fine for me. i like the fact that the clock keeps counting down when in the game.

My point still stands. It is not affecting your ability to play a speed game. If you don't use BOB anyways, then like I said, ignore the box, it isn't doing you any harm.

I'm all for the new game stats! It adds a new dimension to the game.

If some players don't like it, perhaps they could be given the option of turning it off ( just like the large map view)?

Another suggestion: new troops for eliminated players should read "0", not "3".

Dont have the same negative attitude, but kind of agree with this. Knew all along about BOB and "whatever-monkeys" people were downloading, but call me a CC-purist in that I actually enjoyed analyzing territory counts and bonuses on my own, added a little something to the game for me. This almost makes it kind of boring to look to a screen on the right and basically have the game summed up for me...

As i said, if people really feel the need for BOB and other programs, i have no problem with it, but kind of dumbs down the game for me. As bruce and others have said, I wouldnt even mind if there was a disable button so i just didnt have to look at it, but to me it would seem that most established players on this site can scroll 10 lines up the log to figure out someones territory count and not feel the need for this...

But not really losing sleep over this, ill just ignore it.
