New Profile Fields Available

Fellow Conquer Club Members,

It is our pleasure to announce the addition of two new profile fields for your enjoyment! Now you can set your birthday and your gender within your profile to display for the other members of Conquer Club to see. No longer will we be left in the dark about the true nature of our fellow combatants, or will we?

The birthday feature will now allow you to set your date of birth using the Control Panel under the "Profile" tab, and will display your current age when another member views your profile. Also, at the bottom of the forum a list will be displayed of the names of each member who has a birthday on the current day. If you chose not to add your birthday to your profile it will simply not be displayed to protect your privacy.

The gender feature allows you three options: Undisclosed, Male, or Female, and will default to Undisclosed if no other option is chosen. We don't want folks out there pretending to be aliens or some other strange beings after all.

That would be nice, but it is a built in forum feature that we enabled, so it would require a hack to make it work that way.

You can do this already...Just set the day and month but leave the year blank. It will still show up in the forum when it's your birthday.

Isn't displaying someone's age/gender normal for most forums? You're acting as though something new and amazing was accomplished.

Besides, who knows how many people would even put down their real age/gender. And what about an option for the transvestite minority? Maybe male/female/a little bit of both?
