Here's the update:

List of Changes:

  • Fixed wrong names/accents/etc....anyone has other suggestions about names?
  • Some minor improvement to the legends and i used a different background for them.
  • Small version
  • The Balaton Lake, i fixed it but, if you don't like the shape again, then complain about erosion
  • Added the hyphen to the title

Now, the small version is 630x485 px right now, i think that some extra pixels (20-50) could help to increase readability of legends; but I'm also happy with it as it is because personally i can't say I'm not able to read it....so if people don't have problems to read them too i won't ask for additional space.
Someone has problem/find hard to read the legend on the small version?

hm, you use Hungarian names, Croatian names, but why not German for Austria and maybe Bohemia?

  • I like new title. but the lake and rivers looks as they are "upper" as land. could you do them lower?

It's lower, the shadow is inside not outside, so it can't be upper than the land. In any case it isn't techincally possible to do it lower than now. O:)

I can read it, but its small. I also think everything on the small map is small, which is why I play the large map. So I'm a bit biased. Any other complainers on the text of the small map?

How goes it, nobodies? It'd be a cryin' shame if this were to be binned - I love the throne/monarchy mechanism and look forward to playing it.

Currently it's exactly what you can see in the first post. RL is hectic these days. Anyway I think I can work on this and post something by the end of the week. Promised ;)

Maybe a touch-up on the text of the small version - it's a tad hard to read.

Yeah, there is something about the names and the background on the map and not so much the legend itself. It comes off kind of dull to the eyes and makes the names hard to read. Is there any way to add some texture to the map bonus colors(I hope this is making sense). It just needs some variety. Other than the flatness it looks excellent.

What happened to the font on the small version? It's become a bit more difficult to read.

some of the german names for bohemia are a bit cumbersome, though i never liked the directional english ones either. instead of südböhmen, mittelböhmen and nordböhmen, why not use the more colourful budweis, prag and sudetes?

in austria, the name label for wien is missing. only the crest of the austrian throne is visible.

I'll happily change the bohemian names, since I dislike the current ones too. :)

About Wien, there's no territory Wien on the map. Wien is just Nieder-osterrich, I used the bundesland instead of the city, but I'm open to change it to Wien if you think it's better.

I changed the names in Bohemia with the ones you suggested, except for sudetes since I don't like so much the idea to use a mountain range name. I decided to use Preßburg, i think it could work.

The thrones were changed to increase visibility of symbols. Do you like them?

So do you think i have to use wien instead of nieder osterrich?

Thanks for the updates. One more suggestion: Could you use another colour for Bosnia & Herzegovina? As it is next to the sea, I think blue is not the best choice. How about e.g. something orangish?

I don't think orange would fit the colour scheme of the map. It's a totally different shade of blue than the sea so it shouldn't be a problem anyway.
