Another man down in one of the games -

Game 3 is a 6 horse race now.
Game 5 has all to play for.
Game 6 has 6 left in.
Game 7 is wide open with all players alive.
Game 8 looks to be a 3 horse race with one bystander - but you never know!

Another drop out - this is becoming like a war of attrition.

Our fifth finalist is but a couple of turns away I think...

The other 3 games are wide open!

probably referring to me?? - Game 3272609

I win (eventually) on turn 67 - I fear the final will be a 200 turn stalemate.

change it for the final? maybe let the 8 finalists decide? possibly let any one of the 8 veto a change? I would think that everyone would prefer chained. (or even better esc - but let's not go there)

I would be willing to change the Fortifications - but not the cards... - we can decide that when we have 8 finalists.

Reinforcements won't change much IMO. You can have it unlimited if you wish but the games will still go 50+ rounds, in finals probably 100+ rounds because everybody is especially careful and don't want to make a mistake. I would say keep it adjacent because I think in no spoils it gives advantage to those who have skill and think moves ahead and then you can be sure that best player (or at least one of the best) will win.

No update on my game really, it will probably take ages to end

agree - this is what I think the final will end up looking like: Game 3250707 - that game has 300 rounds written all over it

I'm against it! In no cards games, any fortifications other than adjacent are very risky. Risky in a way that a game could be ruined. Flat rate, adjacent would be lessen evil

Oops, I didn't see two posts more...

Blimey - action - 3 people killed in the last week...

2 five way games - and 1 three way game (Which looks to be a 1 way game)
