Schadenfreude – which roughly translates as taking pleasure in other people’s pain – is a wonderful pastime. In this case, we’re enjoying the moment two ultra-expensive supercars were clamped.
A unique £1.5 million 1,018bhp Koenigsegg CCXR and a £350,000 213mph Lamborghini Murcielago SuperVeloce, with matching electric blue paintjobs, were clamped while parked outside Harrods in Knightsbridge, London.
Who owns them?
None other than the Qatari royal family – the same family that bought Harrods from Mohamed Al Fayed in May for £1.5 billion.
