Times when you were wrong on the internet

I once posted that a Democrat was not the spawn of satan....clearly I was wrong there.

I find it amazing how many folks want to use this thread solely as a vehicle for bashing those they disagree with, rather than being honest in it. Then again, I do seem to notice a consistent theme among those who are doing so...color me not surprised there.

It was meant as a joke, which is why I had the winking face.

Of course it was, because you've never put forth statements previously roundly assailing all Democrats.

Whenever I make a blanket statement, take it with a grain of salt. I use blanket statements attacking Democrats when some of the people on this forum have done things like try to argue that higher taxes do not mean less freedom, because I am trying to make a statement as ridiculous as theirs.

Its mostly in jest like when Stephanie Miller calls Rush Limbaugh "the drug addled gas bag." I am sure Stephanie Miller does not like Rush Limbaugh, but its a childish attempt to play to her audience not a valid way of refuting his arguements.

In this particular case the use of the winking face was to make it clear that I was jesting.
