How do you figure out their age when you're not allowed to see their hair until you're married Saxi?

As someone mentioned before they all had copies of the speech he was going to deliver. It's just a big show. A publicity stunt.

Hasn't everything now days pretty much de-volved to that?

The simple answer is "yes" although the complex answer directs that they cannot do it directly. Basically, from a religious prespective, the answer is "no" as the illitegimite head of Iranian Islam has stated that the use of nuclear weapons is "forbidden." On the other hand the influences of Nazism in Iran continues to this day and the extermination of the Jews in the middle east remains a strong goal and motivation. For a hollocaust denier and professed 9/11 truther, using nuclear weapons to obtain this goal is only logical.

The problem becomes clearer when it is noted that Iran is an economically dying nation. Thanks to the UK and what is now BP, Iran was the first to start the oil flowing in the middle east, back in the 1890's and it's going to be the first to run out. They are already importing massive amounts of natural gas just to keep enough pressure on the oil fields to get the oil flowing. Soon the spice (I meam the oil) will no longer flow and they will become just another two bit dir poor piece of MIddle East shit. Their window is closing, they only have a short time to make it big or surrender to the House of Saud.

Realistically speaking, the only answer is "no." If you were to balance the costs of nuking Israel compared to not nuking Israel, you'd realize that the costs are way too great for nuking them. The current Iranians in power would be villainized by most of the world, many nations would have an easy claim to invade them, and thus they lose the whole game show. What's the point of nuking Israel if they lose everything? They're not that stupid. So, of course, No, their threats are mere rhetoric--about 95% of the Israelis I've talked to think the same.

It's not about what their goals are but about the realistic appraisal of their ability to meet such goals, so don't let their rhetoric or even US rhetoric mislead you.

They seem very self-reliant, and have survived decades of sanctions which have very little affect on them. They've even managed to beef up their surface-to-air missile capabilities as well as an entire nuclear program. Sure, their inflation has run high, but their exchange rates are capped at very small amounts, and not much money can be taken out to buy other currencies, so within their nation things are generally stable. Also, they have huge oil reserves (3rd ranked in the world), and they have the world's 2nd largest natural gas reserves.

not trying to be disrespectful here, but, what's wrong with a "UN fact-finding group"?

If you think that's impossible to think of.. take a look at Iraq.

Also I must have been looking at this map wrong. I thought the ones in pink were classified as countries I would tolerate living in. :o

Because UN fact-finding groups provide excellent opportunities for countries to collect top secret information from other countries, which is why Iran and Iraq (Saddam) say, "Piss off, ya wankers." Saddam gambled and lost, and Iran's still playing their game and actually winning.

Also, UN fact-finding groups for these circumstances (I think) are started by the UNSC (Security Council), which has no right to undermine a nation's sovereignty.

Do not let the term "truther" offend you. Perhaps if there had been a few "truthers" around when Hitler burned the Reich tag building blaming it on his political enemies, we might have avoided that whole pesky WWII thing. :-k

Only the UN would allow a dictator who has ignored half a dozen sanctions from that body to speak in an open forum. The only reason he should be allowed to speak at the UN is if it's apologize for ignoring those sanctions and outlining how he's going to adhere to them. One of the many reasons the UN is a worthless money-suck of an organization.

- "The UN is a worthless organization."

- "Iran should develop a plan as to how they will adhere to the UN."

The Obama regime held a book burning this week. The burning of 10,000 books was ordered by Obama's staff citing the normal dictatorial fall-back of "national security." The book - Operation Dark Heart - purportedly contained information about Obama's programme of warrantless spying on U.S. citizens that could be politically embarrassing to the regime. Under regime orders, public funds were allocated to purchase every copy of the book printed in the first run, 10,000 total. The books were then transported to a regime book-burning facility where they were incinerated.

Press were not allowed to watch the burning so we can only imagine what it looked like from historical incidences of book burnings:

Without delving too much into my personal situation, my presence in Pink Central is payment owed for services rendered.

I didn't maniacally smash all the MJ albums I paid for after I learned he'd been diddling kids.

That's not too bad. WIth the money, he can publish more books!

On a more serious note, this is pretty fuckin bad on the US's part.

EDIT: If he really wanted to get his message out there, he should just to upload to the internet and let it go viral. The government couldn't stop that. Sure, he'd lose the money, but he'd beat the government thugs.

A non-governmental investigation into a massive, multi-year campaign of elections tampering in Houston was due to get underway this summer. A month after the investigation was announced a suspicious fire coincidentally destroyed all 10,000 of the county's voting machines. The investigation has been suspended.

Rigged Elections ... Book Burnings ... Nuclear Weapons ... Surveillance of Regime Opponents ... Does Obama have the moral authority to walk-out of Iran's UN speech with his fawning gaggle of western lackeys in-tow?
