the Ski-cross was even better than the Snowboard-cross the other night. I think you have to be a bit deranged to do that.

well done to Bode Miller, his 3rd medal of this Olympics. 1 of each colour now and about time he won a Gold at the Olympics. he was fantastic in the slalom of the combined.

I was watching the Ice Hockey, Germany v Belarus. it was 2-1 Belarus, I went for my Dinner, next thing my lad said it was 4-3 Belarus. I missed 4 goals in 6 minutes. watched the last couple of minutes and Belarus scored a cracking 5th.

So the Dutch really do do winter sports that aren't speed skating. I thought it was just a myth. :lol:

Seriously though, she rode very well. It was a good race, even though the only Canadian to get into the quarter finals, lost by 0.01 seconds.

I'm a bit disappointed that the closing ceremonies are tonight. Oh well, only 4 months to go until the World Cup. Now if only Canada could learn how to play soccer...

Myths always have some truth in them

we do have 1 or 2 other sporters besides speed skating :lol:

Too bad our pilot of the 2 mans bob sucked on that track otherwise they could have had a good chance (and they actually retreated in the 4 mans bob..)
And even in speed skating our best guy chooses the wrong lane...

At least we (sometimes) have a decent soccerteam

Gold medal hockey match is 1-0 for Canada over the USA at the end of the first period. Great game so far. And by "great game", I mean, "the Canadians are dominating the play".
