Christmas blunders!

Postby jay_a2j on Mon Dec 25, 2006 12:08 pm

Ok, so my wife got me a cd set (80's HITS). It came with 4 cd's of what I thought was music. After opening it, I notice that the outer case is damaged (could not see the full extent of the damage until top of case was removed) I listen to one of the cd's and eagerly put in the second cd..... no music. I took the cd out to find that it was a dvd movie not a 80's hits cd!

Obviously this was return merchandise which I believe someone bought it, took out the cd they wanted, replaced it with some lame dvd, beat on or stepped on the outer case (damaging it) then returned it to the store. The Retailer then RE-SHRINKWRAPS it (without looking at all the cds) and puts it back out on the sales floor where my wife picked it up for my Christmas Gift. :(

Other than that my Christmas was fantastic!
THE DEBATE IS OVER...

Reminds me of that prank where people switched the voice boxes of barbie and action men dolls and then returned them to stores.
