FREE PHATSCOTTY!
The one the mods need to ban and retro ban (so he's owed about 10 months 1 week and 1 day) for all of his previous actions is Night Strike. They keep hitting other people with the ban stick when all they're doing or ever have done, is follow Night Strike's example.
And until the mods take action and finally treat Night Strike the same way they treat us, we should all keep posting that same garbage.

I don't understand banning of users who are contributing to our internet community.
This website has two policies, each of which contradicts the other.
One: you have to give a bowl of sugar to your neighbours. You are not allowed to say certain naughty words, or to hold extreme positions.
Two: you are not allowed to post personal information of other users. We live in a semi-anonymous state.
Some people have purposely exposed their own identities, and look at how much milder they are. Jones doesn't say anything offensive (except to viceroy, who deserves it). Remember when nobody knew who Emmdizzle was? The forums were seething with hatred of him. Then he revealed who he was in RL and he calmed down. Now this may just be correlative, but I think it's pretty accepted that in general, greater anonymity is what caused what people call the "negative aspects" of the internet.
Now, I like the so-called "negative" aspects of the internet. I remember as a child, in 1998, when we got the web, and I couldn't wait to be diddled, to join a neo-nazi party (my particular favourite was the french foreign legion, but apparently they don't accept minors), to virtually gangbang and maliciously bully somebody until the point where they commited suicide, to illegally download the music of a starving musician, and send viruses and other forms of goodwill around the world.
However, I propose that instead of banning users, simply allow people to post others user information, or stop this bullshit and bring back flamewars. Recently, L'il Wayne got in media trouble for making some homophobic slurs. He's a fucking rapper, and hip hop was the last vestige of popular culture where you were allowed to be a racist, sexist, homophobe. Now that hip hop is dead, we need that more than ever. Or we don't. Whatever the community decides; we should go one direction or the other.
We are like a push me-pull me.
The wild west of the internet is lost, we need to either fight to keep it or leave it behind, not both like we are currently doing.
Phatscotty, I think you are a tool, but my heart goes out to you.
